[SPEC]The Tagruato Satellite

The Sea Bed Nectar was found long before the satellite dropped. Anyone know when exactly the SBN was found?

What I don't get is the timeline. Chuai station collapsed in December, 4 months later the satellite dropped, and a month later the monster wrecked New York. So the monster had to have been awake for at least 5 months unless it destroyed the Chuai station then calmly went back to bed.

That was not the Tag satellite, it was the monster. This has been confirmed in multiple interviews. Please search next time. There are multiple threads about the satellite.

It wasn't the monster, Abrams said the monster had been down there for thousands and thousands of years. Reeves said that it relates or is a clue to the monster origin, or its discoverers, Tagruato.

I don't remember Hud saying anything, but I remember hearing Reeve's say that 'something suspicious' falls into the ocean. He never said it was the monster itself.

I think that they are referring to people seeing the movie as a stand alone. And maybe the satellite woke it up or something, that would be the origin of the attack. I always like to set people straight although I have been told I sound like an ahole when doing so.

so the MGP can detect extracts of the Sea Bed Nectar....? hmmm i gotta think that the lil ones are just larva forms of the big one that can detect it too then... ( <-- probably was already gone over) maybe they aren't taking Hud back to mama. the MRP probably came to land to lay it's offspring like a real animal may do and the it's the babies first meal???
