again, nothing more than speculation..but do you think its possible that maybe jamie took the SBN/DSN whatever, sample and may have had it put in some of the drinks, seeing the effect it had on her?

The Effect was a blog started by Eddy with the purpose of "luring" a response from something IG. It was essentially UnFictions own "TIDOWave", before TIDOWave became known to us. (if i remember correctly, that is)

During the movie I also was thinking that they were almost super human.
1. Marlene bashing the crap out of the one on Hud
2. Closing the metal door with 4 of the critters pushing on it
3. Beth being able to survive a rod thru her and then get up and run around
4. The three of them surviving the copter crash with all the soldiers who were sitting right byt hem all die
Yes, this is a movie and sometimes movies bend the rules of life. But maybe this is just another clue....
I think people are REALLY underestimating adrenalin, shock, and the power of survival instincts in favor of conspiracies that aren't actually there.
I'm not saying Slusho *isn't* a part in some way... as for the helicoptor crash, well, that's just bad writing, LOL.
{going to see the movie again thursday}

We are not implying that Slusho is a part of the movie. If you saw the movie I tihnk it's quite obvious that it isn't. We are saying that SBN IS a MAJOR part of the movie that is yet to be discovered totally.
Stay up with the conversation......

right, Slusho! doensn't effect (affect?...w/e) the movie direclty, we're talking about how it effects the entire alt. universe by setting things in motion in key locations (the drill locations , the super-human strength, etc...)

So I've been thinking.
What does "cheese, mitten, and hammer" have anything to do with the movie?
Cheese was a code name for cloverfield
mitten i have no idea
and hammer...well the last strike in the movie was "operation hammerdown"
No fucking way? Oh wait, I posted that.

Slusho couldn't be in the movie AT ALL! First off, Rob has been hired to market slusho in the states. It just got FDA approval. So its not here yet. Hawk stated in Robs blog "you can't drink just six" that he was paid off in slusho by a JAPANESE friend and he wishes he was able to get more.
Therefore,
NO SLUSHO IN MOVIE
NO SLUSHO MACHINE
NADA....
so therefore,
Connection must be that monster ate DSN (main ingredient of slusho) and thats why he couldn't be touched, harmed or killed. Which also means that Jamie survived (thought when i saw her in the movie that she passed out at the party like someone coming down from cocaine or meth)

we're not discussing what the slusho.jp pieces have to do (symbolize) with the movie. We're discussing why he would say that there is a definite connection between slusho and the monster.
THE DRINK WASN'T IN THE MOVIE... I'M TIRED OF SAYING THIS
The connection has to do with the Deep Sea Nectar. Otherwise i have no clue why he would say this

thank you. I've been in situations of injury to where i had so much adrenaline pumping threw me i didn't even take notice until much later, after i had time to cool down that is.

I'm pretty sure it's a legit site, because Paramount would have taken it down already since it has the Tagruato in the domain name, and has apparent background info about Tagruato, Tido, the effect, and links to Slusho and such.
no no, welcome to UF. but the effect is an OOG site, set up to get an in game response, i believe some one stated it earlier.

I agree abotu the power of adrenaline. I shot myself point blank (by accident) in the hand with a paintball gun (it was retarded I know). After a few seconds I felt like I had to move. I coulnd't stop pacing and I even felt euphoric and started laughing a bit. Regardless of the grotesquely swollen, bleeding welt on the back of my hand I felt no pain. I literally felt like I was high.
