Your "Yoshi" comment wasn't added until roughly 1:38. I posted that at 1:12. Anyway...who cares.

At least you don't have to "flip your computer upside down" to see Yoshi Very Happy

I edited it to add "It's Yoshi" because you can't upload just a picture without text.

I wouldn't have thought it looked like a heart, but whatever.

Mirrored, but also repetitive

Sorry I don't know how to copy the earlier picture posted by Red Walrus, but here is some speculation on the banner. Please use Red Walrus' picture for reference.

Not everything in the header is mirrored. Looking at it, the lighter objects (?A) repeat, if this is true, a third (?A) would be under the blue waves, almost acting as a dividing point for, say a timeline. Now using the japanese way of reading right to left and using the (?A) as dividers and assuming one is located under the blue waves, it looks to me like
1. a rig running normal, then
2. a rig being destroyed
and then
3. a creature and an evil person as the result (creature and person as one, whatever you believe)

By the way, awesome movie, have seen it twice and when it comes to our small town theater, my kids and I (wife saw it twice, thought it was cool but not as obsessed as we are) will go to it every night. Small town advantage: $1 theaters!

What have been thinking about more recently is about a project a friend of mine did back a few years ago about how terrorists hide messages in images. I found this article on wikipedia and it you go about half way down to the picture of the tree you can see that it hides the image of a cat. I wonder if there is a program that can decode these kind of images, and if so, if any of the website images etc have messages hidden in them. I know this is a LONG shot, but don't leave any stone unturned.

Can you check your link there, d0nu? It's to another unfiction thread, not wikipedia. Interested in seeing that article.

You can try Openstego - the open source program Find815 recently used to encrypt a clue for that game ... a bit different, but along the same lines.
http://openstego.sourceforge.net/
Quote:
Steganography is the science of hiding secret message inside another larger and harmless looking message.
This is one notch above regular cryptography; which just obscures the original message. Steganography
tries to conceal the fact that there is a message in the first place. Steganographic message often appears to
be something else than the original (secret) message, like a picture, sound, larger text, etc.

You'd need to identify a password, as well as the correct pic tho,
in order to see what's been encrypted ...
