Unless we can get Dan to start communicating again, it does look like we wait for a change on one of the sites (presumably bullerman.net). I've got Firefox set to periodically check the site for any changes.

Bottom of the post says:

Labels: ees ot uoy stnaw eh

Turned around it says: he wants you to see

Suramar is a reference to World of Warcraft ????

"William orvald Wilkenson" - W. o. W - (World of Warcraft) ???

Heliox: a breathing gas that is composed of a mixture of helium (He) and oxygen (O2).

See: http://www.heliox.com/

Is this related to game ????

Don't know about the WoW stuff, but I'd say heliox.com is likely OOG.

Well, have a look at this for starters:
LINK

ETA:
OK, now I'll put this behind a tag as this is behind the curtain a bit but supports the idea that we may need to get ahold of this guy in WoW
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

We've established the Rockwell Collins connection. This was posted at Rockwell Collins Gaming site.

Hi I'm XXXX XXXXX,

I just joined the Rockwell family about 6 months ago and excited to find a group of gamers forming.

I play or know how to play a large variety of games so I'll just list my favorites.

Board:
Any of the Catan series (Starfarers(sp?) might be my new fav.)
Risk

Card:
Citadels (just leared and very fun)
All poker variants *(anything you would find in a HORSE game)
I played M:TG from beta till Ice Age and thankfully quit.(sorry I sold all my cards)

RPG (not since Highschool):
Werewolf
Vamp
DND 2nd ed.

MMO:
WoW (70 Human Holy Pally on Suramar Server)

I'm open to playing anything.

XXXX

Also, in the blog post, these are the things italicized:
10 million
heliox
man
W o W
Suramar

ok, WoW looks like our next step. does anyone here have access to WoW, or can we contact him on the character profile page, or do you know anyone who does?

If not, I know someone who used to play WoW and knew their way around it pretty good. I assume he still plays it, if i can get up with him, i'm sure he would meet heliox for us.

I'll wait for input from you guys first.

When playing Catch the Wish we had to meet a character on WoW and on Anarchy Online.

Heh, no WoW, but let me know if any ARGs need someone contacted in LotRO. Very Happy

While contacting someone over an MMO isn't original, at least it's not an overused tactic, like steganography, Vigenere ciphers or MySpace pages.

Yup the WoW angle seems to be correct. I used to play WoW but my account is closed now. So I searched for his character on the WoW website and the first one is Heliox on Suramar.

http://www.wowarmory.com/search.xml?searchQuery=heliox&searchType=all

He is on a PVE server so whoever contacts him does not need to make a special character to be able to talk to him. There is no way to contact him outside of the game world without an account. (Tried seeing if I could PM him in the realm forums but since my account is closed I got shut out haha)

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Told you so :)

I told you guys Rockwell Colons has something to do with the game (but after the whole "where does alterntive reality end" stuff, I didn't check it out any further). I believe I still have an out of date version of the trial version of WoW still on my computer, which I'll check when I get home (but if I do, since Comcast blocks P2P traffic, It'll take hours to get the game up to date).
