 		[TROUT] MGP's skin can be breached
Ok hear me out, this is a theory of mine, ok those little things on MGP are parasites, as in the feed on MGP so they have to be able to bite through MGP's skin. Now remember in the scene where Marlana ( sorry if i spelled it wrong) explodes you see the military with a dead parasite. Maybe they were going to use it to figure out why bullets and bombs aren't breaking MGP's skin. This good be a cool theory if a Cloverfield 2 was made and in the military's point of view.

We don't know that they're parasites, they could be opportunists, like pilot fish that eat the "leftovers" from fearsome predators.

yeah but acording to that action figure thing their called parasites idk if thats just the people who are making it but thats where i thought of this theory

Dude the movie came out last week O_o am sure other people figured it out and there are many people that aren't on this forum that are following Cloverfield

 		They could just eat stuff that grows in its skin rolls, kind of like how you need to wash a Pug dog's face so it doesnt get infections. The name parasite would imply that the little critters benifit at the dismay of the monster, though in the movie it seemed more like a mutualist relationship(biology WHAM!) though the only connection of these being parasites was a name given to the movie in its filming stage, even if anyone involved in the development called them parasites its probably becuase parasite is a much more common word than mutalist relationship.
