Savings Trust

OK, I'll try this again...forums hate me.

Found Security Trust Bank. It was a bank in downtown LA at Fifth and Spring.

I don't think the bank itself is there (at least not under the current name) but the building IS still there. And they usually don't move the vaults out when the banks leave, it costs too much. They'll use them as records storage or something.

I meant the 4 cameras other than the initial one Enitech has which they based their research on. Remember, Dyson Trust was approached with the device, they approved Enitech and the project. Anna has that camera. Enitech has also developed their tachyon camera through followup research. They know there are 4 other cameras like their initial camera out there, 2 of which we've found.
So to be clear - there are 5 point-and-shoot cameras: enitech has one, steve has one, zoltan has one. They also suspect, given the most recent submitted photos, that someone else out there has a tachyon camera or similar device in some form.

We could just do a capture of the box from the show.
Maybe print the screen cap and then take a picture of the print with the resistance device.

I think we do agree, just words got crossed somewhere... though we don't know for sure yet what the camera's abilities are, we are speculating. I do believe the cameras have some form of ability more than just taking 'regular pictures'. Whether they are actually able to photograph tachyons or rather transmit them somewhere for instance, we'll find out soon enough.

I think it's partially for hiding, but mainly I think these are modified by people with either higher technology or more knowledge - thus enitech's research of the first camera, which allowed them to create their own version. I do think that there is something fundamentally different between the original handheld camera and the monster they showed in their videoblog - I mean, if the small camera does exactly the same thing, why is their camera 25x larger? Either the small one has physical components or material unavailable to enitech so they had to compromise, or the small camera doesn't have exactly the same abilities as their larger camera (that is, their R&D was successful in that the smaller camera was a starting point for their research and the resulting tachyon camera was the product).

Is this an in-game or oog statement? IG, meaning that if we send them a fake snapshot they'll know we're not being on the level with them?

Or OG, meaning that the PMs know this bank isn't around but if we provide a photo of "the deposit box number" in question they'll act as though the bank still exists?

I guess this is a question of whether we're supposed to ignore this request and act against the instructions, or fulfill them in as much the OOG reality would allow?

If the latter, then all we'd need to do is find someone who can get into their bank's vault and take a quick picture of the correct box number. That should suffice to satisfy the request.... I would gladly do it, except my bank doesn't use letters with its box numbers... So all I could get is 117 not A117...

I'm assuming that they wouldn't accept us emailing MrToasty's, or anyone's, screen capture from the episode, or an obviously photoshopped image.

Maybe just providing the snapshot of the A117 box from the pilot is sufficient?

YOu know, it might be due to the lack of sleep but I hard followed you on that. Although I understand what you mean, what are we supposed to do, we don't even know if the instructions are real or if it's just someone tryingg to be funny. Wow I really should sleep.

Unless vpisteve has a better feel for the legitimacy of the Resistance message, I'd have to agree with being a bit skeptical. All of the images in their Flickr account were posted yesterday. I'd also go along with your last suggestion to email Enitech or maybe post another comment on the last blog entry - they were rather quick and helpful with their reply to Rowan's comment concerning the location of the camera.

There is also the possibility that for whatever the reason the game has gone off the originally intended script and they are introducing new elements to nudge it back on track.
