The only sequel I would see, is if it was in the same timeline but told from another point of view...That would be cool.

You're kidding right?

When a person gets hit by a giant tail, they don't tend to survive.

Actually, I disagree completely. What a waste of time that would be. Plus, the main complaint I've heard is the hand-held concept. After getting numerous critiques about THE SAME DANG THING, you'll probably end up fixing the issue (a la, stop using the handheld, no matter how cool it is).

I also would not be surprised if the sequel is not based on Lily at all, but on a different place where the monster attacks.

Seriously... I doubt that anyone would buy the MGP coming back to finish off the remaining four Slusho Seven (I say four, because Lily escaped, and we don't know about Rob, Beth, or Jamie).

Right, but a lot of people liked it because of the hand-held concept. It would've sucked without it in my opinion.

No, ABSOLUTELY. I LOVED it for this movie. It worked fine for me, and was very well-used.

However, I think that after ONE movie, the effect would wear off for ALOT of people.

Please, Reeves, a different style for the next one.

I would have to go with shrtyscott3 as far as the fate of the characters. Some people have said that when the helo carrying rob, beth and hud take off you see Lily's get thrown down but I'm pretty sure that was really a tank or other ground vehicle.
Lily could come back in the sequel either as an interview subject or perhaps as some type of crusader against the evil ness of Tang.

The cool thing is there may be one final post on MySpace from the Slusho seven--LiLys'. Could be a farewell, they are all dead, tie up some loose ends type of post--hope so.
