ok guys, i just noticed something

I watched a bootlegged clip of the ENTIRE scene were HUD is eaten, and I watched this over and over... finally it caught my eye.

You can see the bottom of one of the hanging things STRETCH. I officially think they are closer to huge, pipe-like Elephant trunks than anything else.

What I meant by not "Good" shots was that you never get to see the monster as a whole enough to put it together acurately, you see its legs alot. Its head once officially for a second, its back, and so forth. All of the shots are to dark to see every detail of the beast.

k well maybe i was wrong aobut the " belly mouth" but watching the clip again it DOES look verry diff then the one that ate up our good pal HUD.....i uploaded the clip and then i remember the no clip rules lol.

if u have the movie, reveiw the scene and tell me wut you think.

I still adhere to the idea that the 'trunks' on the bottom are flippers, or some sort of swimming apparatuses... apparati? Whatever.... oh wait, it is apparatuses.

Anyways, the idea that the monster would have two mouths just strikes me as ridiculous. Call me unimaginative, but where the monster is supposed to look at least fairly realistic (albeit freaky and HUEG), it doesn't make sense for it to have a feature that no other creature on the face of the planet possesses. (Granted, I'm not a biologist, so feel free to correct me. I think I can narrow it down to 'no vertebrates', though) If its flipper-limbs were little trunk-manipulators that could convey people to its mouth, that would make a little more sense, and I could buy that.

As for the sequence of posted pictures in this thread, I still don't buy that the thing it's 'holding' is a person. Yes, the perspective would change things, but think of the size of MGP's head, then think of how big that arm would have to be, and how big the person its holding is. Maybe if he was lifting a car or a tank...Still, it doesn't add up yet. The arms would have to be TINY in order for that to be a person, and they just don't look small enough. I think it's more like that some sort of claw has folded out of the flipper, since its main limbs seem to kinda collapse in on themselves when it moves around. Just my theories, though.

::EDIT:: Also, there's no way this: http://www.cloverfield-movie.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/cheese11808wf3.jpg could be the toy. It looks nothing like MGP, not even slightly.
