Was it ever said in the episode that they were transported in time to the *exact* same place they left? It's possible that while the time machine they used was in the bank, it placed them in a different location in the future...

Which would make it possible - indeed likely - that the bank would still be there in '07.

Sarah - Where are we?
Cameron - Same where, different when.

Take it for what it's worth, doesn't necessarily have to mean the exact same where, does it?

I think Cameron was referring to approximate geographic location rather than exact. Otherwise the T800 and T1000 would have appeared in exactly the same spot in T2. Same for Reece and the T800 in the original.

That would depend on it being the exact same time machine, which it isn't.

OK, got the pic. Sending it in....

They wouldn't let me into the vault, so I took a pic facing it from outside. I hope that'll be ok....

This is around the back of the bank, sort of a crummy area. The vault is right behind this wall, separated by what looked like a narrow hallway.

EDIT: Just got this reply from Enitech: "Thank you. We've been contacted by someone claiming to be in "the resistance" who has asked us to process these images using our system. We're curious to find out what will turn up. We'll be in touch soon."

I then got a message through Flickr from The Resistance: Excellent work.

Phew! Smile

Good job, steve!
So, where was it? How did you find it?

Part of me was wondering if you hadn't contacted friends in the industry to get some establishing footage from the pilot shoot. Wink

I just started following this tonight, but man do I ever get sucked into ARGs easily! Im just glad that this one is still going strong. It would be especially great if some of the ARG spilled over in the Dallas area where I live Smile I'll totally be your man on the ground here.

I actually don't know what to post, honestly, as it's apparent that Unfiction has been put in-game to a certain extent.

My photos of the thermos and its contents were scraped from my Flickr account and posted on the Enitech blog (breaking my cc license terms, I might add), despite the fact that I never told Enitech or anyone outside of this forum of their existence. The only public place I linked to them was in this thread. Then, I was contacted by someone from The Resistance through that Flickr account, and I certainly hadn't contacted them yet, either.

So, Enitech and the Resistance not only monitor but *act upon* information discussed solely in this player-space. Information they haven't been given within the confines of the game. So Unfiction's in-game, and my Flickr account is even in-game.

So......I'll just say that the photo I submitted was in exact accordance with The Resistance's instructions. Cool

though, there is the point that the resistance, assumedly being research capable while operating covertly, would find your flickr account by a quick google of 'vpisteve' to find ways to contact you... thus finding your photos of the package, confirming your identity... they probably even known of mysdirection Wink

the license thing I can understand though. But afaik that's done all over the place *shrug*
the least they could have done I guess is link back to your flickr account as the photos' source.
post a comment to that effect in their blog, see how they respond.

Sorry, that can be blamed on me. In an effort to keep people informed who weren't following along here, I posted a message on the EniTech blog.

My Granada Hills contact found the cache. It was a thermos that contained several items, one of which was a camera. He has posts on his flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/polyman/sets/72157603781660711/

I think I'll just go away now.

Well, the SA guys are also following what we are doing here very loosely, and one of them did post a link to your flickr page over there:

And where did they get this idea?

EDIT: Oh, i see it was a new image in the Resistance account yesterday.
