just got back from my second viewing. i'm certain i too saw the blue circular logo and believe it had to have been nasa's.

I does sort of look like the NASA logo. But it looks like the lettering goes beyond the blue circle part. Might just be a crappy picture. The logo is definitely not DOD or Homeland Security.

is it possible it was a document from Yoshida Medical Research? It is sort of roundish & blue & the military had tents up to treat infected ppl.

The "A Day In The Life of a YMR Doctor" article talks about pathogenic bacteria...perhaps a bite from one of the parasites implants this bacteria? or perhaps they had some tips in the document on treating the infected people.

Well that doesn't look quite like the NASA logo because of that light blue shape. This is why we need a dvd screener for more information lol. Or someone to go to the movie with a digital SLR camera with perfect timing lol.

I briefly considered NoAA. They have access to Satellite sonar imagery, and of course they study the ocean. They don't, however, appear to monitor it, and their weather stuff isn't related.

Their symbol is similar to NASA's, but is two shades of blue, hence why I am pretty sure it's not it. It's the only other symbol I could find similar to NASA's and US Gov. related.

I doubt anyone cares, but just for a tidbit of trivial info... that NASA logo is refered to as the "Meatball". Just thought someone, somewhere might appreciate this info.

They later replaces that logo with the "Worm", but brought back the original by popular demand (I think).
