Wait a minute, CIVILIZED discussion!

BRILLIANT!

On another note, now that we've actually got clear outlines of appendages, I think we may be on to something here. The more I see of those shots, the more I think MGP just has those two "suckers" and not a series of little arms along his chest (like most of the deviantArt pics show). Furthermore, Lambo, great pictures, and great outlining. Mutiple Brownie s for you.

Oh. Well, there is a search function.

And, that picture's quality is no different from others. Guess you just haven't seen it.

Actually, its larger. The others were all stretched and lost quality.

Second, its actually lighter without being photoshopped, meaning it has more quality to it.

Whatever it may be, it helped me draw a kickass face for this thing.... Very Happy

nice drawings Axis!

One minor "complaint" I have with it if you will... for some reason, the way you drew the jaw and teeth just doesnt look right to me. Take a nice long look at the picture of the face someone posted 1-2 pages back. Theres a LOT more large teeth sticking out then just those two.

Ignore Me, if you look further back into this thread, you will see where I got the "vacuum trunk" idea from.

Okay, so I'm back from the bar, and as promised, I have the pic I drew lines around. That seems to be popular, right? I just wanna fit in....

Anyways:
blue = flipper?
red = claws?

It's pretty clear in that shot that there's something fin-like on the blue outlined appendage. We gotta keep in mind that MGP is a sea-monster when all is said and done, and to a certain extent, base our assumptions and theories off that. Where Neville Page designed it to be functional in a realistic way, the row of swim-limbs on the underside would fit the sea motif. Just sayin'.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I just can't accept the suckers yet. Hopefully, the toy release will clear up all of this...

Seriously, we need to spam Hasbro for that...

Only problem with your image is that the mysterious part of the monster extends well below that frame. Its almost on the ground actually...

I dunno about that. I was going off the length of the thing on the left... which also looks like a flipper.
