I still don't see it... could someone PLEASE post a really blurry picture with frantic red MSPaint edits circling something so I can agree with you?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=qxQ24jnVcmI Here's a good vid where the scene featuring the sequence of photos pointing out the 'sucker arms' comes from. Watch the scene a few times; you can see he's NOT picking up a person. The sequence of photos is just blurry and makes it look like he is.

I know I'm alone in this, but I still say they're flippers.

Also, when the bombing run scene occurs later, you get a good look at MGP's chest; if you watch closely, you can see that the things on it's chest move in a sort of ripple, like the legs of a centipede. Think of the bottom of a shrimp or lobster... the imagery seems to mesh more with that than the whole 'mouth' theory. It could be said that the small, axillary legs lift people to this area, which tears them up and passes them up to MGP's mouth. Outlandish, I know, but it seems a little more plausible to me than MGP having a mouth on his chest.

Honestly, I've considered that as well, but I think that a flipper under the right lighting might have the same sort of appearance, especially if it was fairly cup-shaped. Still, the possibility of a scooper is something I can concede to.
