Trailmaster has never lead us wrong. He tells us what he can and has even told us what he was not allowed and got reamed for it. I will go to bat for that guy any day and every day. I understand your concern but at this point, honestly, it's not valid.

I think he's totally on our side, but that doesn't mean that everything he has said has been true. He might have been mistaken, or he might be trying to protect us, or whatever. This isn't a question of loyalty. if TM asks me to jump I will. It's a question of looking at FACTS instead of acting on blind faith. What do we know FOR SURE, independent of whether or not we trust TM?
Do we know there really was a car accident, for example? Do we know whether or not Malice is a real character? What are we CERTAIN of?

That's my concern. We're getting distracted by every single plot possibility because we don't have a foundation of fact to stand on (don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the goose chase, but I'd like it to be by choice, not by default).
Let's start with the obvious stuff. Are we sure there is a Brody? All we've seen is his damn green eyeball.

Icarus, you talked to SOMEONE on the phone. I don't want to careen off into wild suspicion and speculation, but it's conceivable that all the contact we've had with Brody has actually been with a poser. Maybe Malice has Brody locked in an Underwater bunker somewhere and has got someone POSING as Brody to throw us off the trail. That would explain some of the time discrepancies. Whatchuguys think? Is Brody Brody? Can we list him as a known fact? Can we trust his correspondence?
