[SPEC] Lack of updates since movie
has anyone noticed since the movie

since the movie came out no real ARG updates have happened?
well obviously TIDOwave and Tagruato went down for a couple days but thats it nothing is really going on via the internet and honestly im getting bored with it i mean the more i read sites like these its debating the relevance of clues we've had for months and honestly i think some of these things are to mess with people like us anyone agree? disagree?

edit - tagged and retitled for clarity - MikeyJ

totally agree. the lack of info is making people pick apart the smallest things trying to look for clues that aren't there.

patience.

This is the understatement of the year. In the beginning we went weeks without a trace of anything. It was'nt until the late November, early December when things actually picked up. This is nothing. But, yes it does suck to be waiting around.

I'm thinking either the ARE is completely done or we are missing something (which i'm leaning more towards). I mean, the hack went down and went back up because we missed the connection to tidowave...it seems like that's the exact same thing as tag and tido going down and back up.

Unfortunately....all good things must come to an end! But what a ride! Hopefully there will be a WORTHY sequel, and this will all begin again. I still check in everyday to see if anything new has been discovered, but it's mainly just habit. I have been checking in for so long, it is part of my routine now.

I definitely think the problem is that we're missing something. If I remember, it was George Bernard Shaw who said "If you've got a gun on the wall in act 1, someone had better be shot by act 3," and quite frankly, we have way too many guns on walls for this to be over.

I remember when we waited a month for a new clue. You're are whining because its been a week. They want more people to see the movie before they start the ARE again, because when it does start its gonna be one helluva ride.

Also in that month we started seeing posts about how the monster was Ivan Ooze and this was going to be a serious power rangers movies.

You guys just joined. Go back to July when we went ages without a single thing, and you really wouldn't care about this lull now. I wouldn't mind 2 months of nothing to settle down and break into this new Star Trek thing.

"lull" has probably become a bigger part of all our vocabulary now... Same w/ the word "terrible."

A: As long as a piece of string...

I admit it is anoying waiting, but like many have said,it's not the first time we've had to wait.I'm pretty damn sure that there is still something that we're missing from the information we already have.As to what it is,I haven't the slightest idea.Remember we were told to look for Janice's picture by T.I.D.O.,but we haven't seen it,or have we???I think, especially since the movie came out, alot of people have abbandoned even looking for clues in the tons of info we already have, and more or less have focussed on picking apart the film. And yeah, the movie does give us clues, and I'm sure probably some we still haven't found. My point is there are still clues in the info we have from the websites that no one has found.I've had this gut feelin in the pit of my stomach even before the movie was released.I couldn't help but feel that there is something that we're missin, and it's right there in front of our face. And once someone finds what is eluding us,we'll all be like "Holy shit.Of course. It was smack dab right in front of us the whole damn time".Yeah,I could be totally wrong. But I really don't think so.Especially with the flood of newcomers to all the sites digging and searching for information, there is no way that J.J. and Paramount are gonna just abandon this ARG/ARE/VMC,whatever you choose to call it.They want to reel in as many prospective fans as they can.Remember,J.J. wants this to be "America's Monster".He wants this to be a franchise. And the last thing he and Paramount want to do is bite the hand that feeds it.It's just not good business. They are fully aware of the outcry for info by the fans. They check the fansites. They read the forums.J.J. Abrams is a smart man,and he knows that if he want's to get people behind this idea, this world he has created for us,he can't just turn his back on us.Undoubtedly there will be another movie, probably more.He know's that in order for Cloverfield to be America's monster movie franchice,he's gonna have to take it seriously, and avoid pissing off the fanbase.Be patient my fellow Cloverheads.I know it's hard as hell, taking in account that seeing the movie just makes us salivate for more. That doesn't really help lol But this ain't over by a longshot. No way in hell.It may be a month before we get anymore info from a website or YouTube video, and that wouldn't shock me.But I'm willin to wait.I'm gonna keep lookin for clues from the info we have. There is something we are missing, but we'll find it.Sorry for the long post ,but sometimes when I get goin,it's hard for me to stop lol

Hey man... I know that this is completely OT, and I apologize, and you can all flame away but I've been meaning to say this for some time; your avatar really, really annoys me for some reason. I can't put my finger on it but... it just does.
