[SPEC] SOL Decapitation: Torn off, or BIT off???

It bit it off, then sneezed, causing it to fly as seen in the movie.

That's just my opinion. I also thought that the monster was an asthmatic butch lesbian, but that's just me.

I honestly think that the little guy ripped it off and then chewed on it for a while, just like a little puppy dog.

And maybe he didn't THROW it, but maybe he spit it out, too. Throwing an object like a baseball doesn't seem in character for OGP. He was like, "WTF is this??" SPA----TOOOOEY!!!!

Nah...The SOL was decapitated by the sucking action, and jagged teeth enclosed within' MGP's Torso 'sucker-tubes'... Shocked

It was then propelled with great gusto into NY...

Or perhaps, hit like a baseball with its tail into NY...

Maybe MGP thought the statue was pretty and tried to kiss it. Unfortunately, whenever MGP kisses anything he ends up violently ripping its head off! ... Someone should have taught him how to kiss without biting! Laughing

but seriously, I was wondering this myself because of the puncture marks on the SOL's face. Either bite, rip, toss or rip, bite, toss...but def some chompin goin on, imho.

I've said this in another thread. I believe it's the first thing it sees when it surfaces from the water as the statue is brightly illuminated at night. Being hungry and confused it made a beeline to the statue thinking it might be food. When it realizes it's not edible it rips the head off in anger. I don't think it was thrown or spit from that location. I think it was carried ashore and then either spit or thrown. That's just my 2 cents.

If I can add my $.02, I think the monster chewed on lady liberty then swatted her head off. The chewing would explain the marks and the swatting would explain the head flying down the street.

I'd say thrown. If we're to believe that mgp would chew on a huge piece of metal, we would see him doing the same to buildings/tanks/etc. in the movie, none of which happen. Or hell, maybe he learned his lesson from biting the SoL. That bitch's crown poked him.

I think MGP ripped it off with his claws and then the parasites had their way with it. The bites seemed far too small for MGP to make them.
