The girl from MythBusters.
A popular but niche show on a minor cable network.
Show has little to nothing to do with science fiction, fantasy, and gaming related geekery, so your credentials are safe.
If you are a science/physics/explosives geek, you may need to study up for your renewal test.
I've seen the show and had to google her.
Mind you, I love the episodes I've seen, but watch very little television these days.

Well I'm glad she's not from Mythbusters... I do enjoy that show every once in a while, but that bloody avatar makes me want to brutally molest a small animal.

I admit it is anoying waiting, but like many have said,it's not the first time we've had to wait.I'm pretty damn sure that there is still something that we're missing from the information we already have.As to what it is,I haven't the slightest idea.Remember we were told to look for Janice's picture by T.I.D.O.,but we haven't seen it,or have we???I think, especially since the movie came out, alot of people have abbandoned even looking for clues in the tons of info we already have, and more or less have focussed on picking apart the film. And yeah, the movie does give us clues, and I'm sure probably some we still haven't found. My point is there are still clues in the info we have from the websites that no one has found.I've had this gut feelin in the pit of my stomach even before the movie was released.I couldn't help but feel that there is something that we're missin, and it's right there in front of our face. And once someone finds what is eluding us,we'll all be like "Holy shit.Of course. It was smack dab right in front of us the whole damn time".Yeah,I could be totally wrong. But I really don't think so.Especially with the flood of newcomers to all the sites digging and searching for information, there is no way that J.J. and Paramount are gonna just abandon this ARG/ARE/VMC,whatever you choose to call it.They want to reel in as many prospective fans as they can.Remember,J.J. wants this to be "America's Monster".He wants this to be a franchise. And the last thing he and Paramount want to do is bite the hand that feeds it.It's just not good business. They are fully aware of the outcry for info by the fans. They check the fansites. They read the forums.J.J. Abrams is a smart man,and he knows that if he want's to get people behind this idea, this world he has created for us,he can't just turn his back on us.Undoubtedly there will be another movie, probably more.He know's that in order for Cloverfield to be America's monster movie franchice,he's gonna have to take it seriously, and avoid pissing off the fanbase.Be patient my fellow Cloverheads.I know it's hard as hell, taking in account that seeing the movie just makes us salivate for more. That doesn't really help lol But this ain't over by a longshot. No way in hell.It may be a month before we get anymore info from a website or YouTube video, and that wouldn't shock me.But I'm willin to wait.I'm gonna keep lookin for clues from the info we have. There is something we are missing, but we'll find it.Sorry for the long post ,but sometimes when I get goin,it's hard for me to stop lol
tl;dr

It could very well be that they're just giving everyone time to see the movie

I agree; that is entirely logical.

Stick a fork in it...it's done. Maybe a "mini-ARE" with some minor updates leading up to the release of the DVD later this year, but don't hold your breath for much else...unless a sequel is greenlighted.

You guys just joined. Go back to July when we went ages without a single thing, and you really wouldn't care about this lull now. I wouldn't mind 2 months of nothing to settle down and break into this new Star Trek thing.
Hey man... I know that this is completely OT, and I apologize, and you can all flame away but I've been meaning to say this for some time; your avatar really, really annoys me for some reason. I can't put my finger on it but... it just does.
Because Hayley Williams is absolutely sexy, and it's giving you boners. I know this is a new experience for you, but it's perfectly normal. You'll be okay.
Rub it if your parents aren't around.
