Any monkey can start up a Cafepress site.

In fact, I'm tempted to start one selling shirts saying 'Halo 2 was cancelled. Would you like to buy some honey?' now.

Edit - wait.... That shirt has the original November 9th release date on it. The one which Microsoft has confirmed as being set in stone and will not change, come hell or high water..

How is this proof that we're getting a demo earlier?

August 24th is 77 days away from November 9th, right?

Now the equation itself could point another release...perhaps of a small portion of Halo 2 that we will get in its entirity on Nov. 9. In other words, a single player demo.

True, any monkey can make a cafepress item, but that same ingenuity pales in comparison to the actual website, ilovebees.com.

Because the numbers add up to 24!!!!!!!!!!!!! And OMG OMG since the day of the countdown is the 24th, OMG OMG!!!!

'Course, if the countdown hit the 6th, the numerologists would add the 24's 2 and 4 and find a coincidence there. If it was the 20th, they'd just take Halo as being out on the 9th day of the 11th month, forget about the year and add those together. You could work out a spurious coincidence for every day of the month, and it still wouldn't make the demo idea any more true.
