It's kind of hard to ignore him Bri, when it comes to a point where if anyone has a different opinion than him he jumps on them.

I am sure many people here are afraid of saying things when they are thinking it, because of the consequence of feeling the "wrath of Icarus".

This issue has been ignored time and time again. This time it cannot be ignored...

its already been discussed several times. Icarus has a loud mouth and says stuff that shouldnt be said. we know. he knows. everyone knows. it's not going to change. we can not control him. theres only two things we can do. 1) ignore him. 2) petition to have him banned. you guys do what you want. personally, my vote is to ignore him whenever he goes off on people. it works for me. despite everything you guys know he has helped this group out a lot. failure to realize that is just plain stupid.

He has done a lot for the group, but he has almost killed the game by chasing new players away. The game's intent right now is to get new players...If new people come in and say something stupid and he goes off on them, they will get pissed off and leave. That will kill this game...

His state of mind that since someone is new they are not an asset to this game, is very destructive. If anyone should ignore anything it's him ignoring others. But he doesn't so I don't think anyone should ignore him. He isn't God.

Leith has also done TONS for this group but no one really seems to mind that much that he is gone...Icarus alone can't finish this game...He needs the whole team. And for the whole team to stay together they need to work as one and respect one another...Respect is something that is lacking from this community because of Icarus.

My contribution. It is pretty simple. Don't argue. Dissagree, and exchange back and forth in a civilized way, but don't fight. It does nothing but cause garbage like we have seen. If someone is trying to pick a fight IGNORE THEM. If you can't then talk to an admin.

We are a good group. Smart, resourceful, and damn sexy if I may say so.

The people that have been in this for a long time have become an extension of my family to me. I hate to see strife in what is normally a pretty tight knit group.

As for Will, my attacks here have been extremely mild compared to 48, mainly because I abide by uF's ToS and don't use much foul language aside from the occasional `` shit. ``

If you're wanting to settle me down making threats and trying to be billy bad ass isn't the way to do it my friend. You and I have had our disagreements but in the end we've always been friends. Come to me, talk to me.

As for the rest of you, you constantly bait me. You know I'll bite and come back at you, so why do it? I've been in a much better mood for the past week, aside from being sick, than I have been in a very long time. Ignoring me is your best option at this point. Respond to my posts that are relevant to the game and ignore anything I say you don't like. It's not rocket science.

Edit : One misconception about me is probably the fact I use so much `` vulgarity `` that I'm obviously hostile. This is far from the truth. I don't believe any vulgarity exists, they're just words. I use them because they either sound better or help drive my point home. Just keep that in mind for future conversations.

you're right connie, he has driven away people. BUT I would not completely blame him. when we first started this game the architects told us to keep everything secret. our forum was locked to unregistered people! uF was a threat to us at first. back in the begining days we were lead to believe we were in a race against other groups. there were supposedly several groups other than us (which as we know now was complete bullshit) and we were told they were our enemy. we had to solve things in secret and do things on our own. obviously we succeeded in being on our own. thats why ic (and I know a few others) were hostile at first to uF and newcomers. He has calmed down in going after to new guys. if they get scared because of reading some old post he made than they are just dumb. but again back to what I've been saying. if you ignore him your life will be a lot better.

edit: and about the leith thing. I think almost every one here wants him back. I even emailed TM today and asked him about that situation. his response to me was that it had to be resolved on its own. Leith is a valuable asset to this time just as Icarus is and just as we ALL are.

Thank you, Tubbz for putting up this thread. You have no idea how happy I am to see this for we need peace on this board. We need to be a cohesive group again and not be at each other's throats.

Very true Flux...But I am talking about how hostile he was AFTER the fact that TM said uF is a vital part of this games expansion...There was no need to be suspicious of them anymore yet he was mean to them for being new and not knowing certein things or not double checking everything. It scared them away. Cyngs was great help, she was amazing at trying to solve that Scribe Eyes puzzle, and now she is gone too...And when she came back to the forum for a second to say she is bored (maybe with the hope of returning if she was wanted) Icarus freaked at her.
