Then why'd you bother to post. Very Happy
If it's so obvious to you, then maybe I should have noticed. Laughing

Re: [Review] I finally got to see Cloverfield!
And something that I found funny.

Normally a viewer who finds romance in a film as a cheesy thing is normally a viewer who have not experienced "Romance" in his/her real life.

If you disect the production crew of Cloverfield, its main intention is basically bringing the reality of life in a monster film. That is why Bad Robot hired "Matt Reeves" to direct it. Matt Reeves is one of the brain child of this sweet TV romance series called "Felicity"

Oh, I bet your group of friends have no girlfriends too.....

Just my little quick review of Cloverfield. If it's a bit late it's because it premiered this thrusday in Puerto Rico. I won't post many of the obvious spoilers of it cause, let's face it, it's been said over & over.

The Monster: 10/10 - Every scene of the monster made me jump. Especially when Rob & co. are heading into the subway.

Story: 6/10 - Found the guy heads to rescue his love while a monster attacks a bit cheesy, but some parts of it I liked.

And something funny that happened. I was the only one, of my friends and all the people who where at the theater, that knew there was nothing else after the last Coney Island scene. The lights hadn't yet come on but the credits were rolling. Me & my girlfriend stood up & people were yelling "SIT DOWN! THE MOVIE'S NOT OVER YET!" To which I answered back, "YES IT IS, THAT'S ALL, NOTHING MORE, THE MOVIE'S OVER, I'M GONE!"

When I got out, my friends started telling me that the movie toatlly sucked, until I explained quite a bit of the ARG/ARE to them. Then they liked it. But the manager of the theater told me I had to get out because they didn't want me telling stuff about the movie outside.

And yes, I may have seen the bootleg, but I had to watch it in the theater to get the REAL experience, which I loved. And if StarshipTrooper reads this, yes the military scene blew my B***s to the back of the theater.

Overall, I give the movie a 9/10.

Dude ive experienced "Romance" more times than I can count, plus what I call romance...aka intercourse...more times than I can remember and I STILL find the shit cheesy...

Dont generalize all of us and put us in the category with you cause you seem to live in this world of no girls.

Some of us ACTUALLY live lives...amazing isnt it?

Not until after he does The Dark Tower. Very Happy

What? J.J. Abrams? The Dark Tower? THE Dark Tower? Since when?

Yeah, man (sorry for the late response)!

At least, if you're thinkin' Steve King Dark tower. No info on whether it'll be theatrical or mini-series or what, or if JJ will direct. Actually, no real info at all. It is officially confirmed, though.
