that's what I was thinking, Rob, only on a larger scale. Didn't think of the 4 becoming a pyramid, which is consistent with the four hiddens cameras.
hmm...

I'm still looking at these strange patterns found in the triangles of the recovered device imagery. I have a very distinct theory about what they represent. Ever hear of something called SkyNet?

Looks like we just need the one last triangle to fill-in the middle of a larger triangle, with the newest one at the top and the first two on the bottom row.

Could be a code that counts the number of lines attached to circles/groups of circles.

But the first two have lines trailing off two sides, suggesting that each connects to two more triangles which we haven't seen yet. Both could share one new triangle, leaving at least three more new ones to find. If the overall structure is a large triangle, then we'd be looking at a total of at least nine triangles.

To clarify really quickly (since I need to head home to get stuff for work soon):

Yes the blue thing is a all-in-1 card reader. It is a "Digital Concepts" camera with the back intact. I don't have it on me, but if I recall correctly, the SD card was a 512 MB 1 GB Kodak SD. (I'll edit this part once I check and get to work.) And the entire ground at the area was more rock than dirt/soil.

I also love that I got Enitech to fix my gender on the blog after the comment I left while I was in class.

God, why and how in context of the game would we have heard of SkyNet? As an off-hand remark it makes no sense given what we've learned in-game...

Or did I seriously miss some IG revelation?

Skynet was mentioned once on the blog in an email from the Resistance.

Even so, is there anything that we could research in-game that would tell us about skynet? Obviously OOG we know all about it, but we can't bring that knowledge in-game...

So given two brief mentions of the word "skynet" how are we expected to really know what it is?

Don't get me wrong, I agree with your assessment. It was a stretch just finding that quote. I suppose we could press Mike for more in the comments - "What is this Skynet of which you speak?"

You're so very right. Don't know what I was thinking.

actually, if the lines aren't intended to connect (line up), then if the two single-side-clear pieces attach to the two clear sides of third piece (then connect their 2nd sides together), then one more piece on the 'bottom' with lines extended to all 3 sides would complete a pyramid.

But again this assumes the extended lines aren't intended to line up where sides connect.
At this point none line up.

4 triangles = a pyramid. it could be possible to connect all the sides such that a pyramid is formed, and that when you look at it from a particular position, the lines or circles you see through the sides... form something.

I was thinking that the sides that were open were gonna be the ones that actually connect to another one, and while I myself don't believe that too much (the first one had no open sides, what would that connect to?) It makes me wonder.

Triangles

With several triangles we can also form an hexagon

Who knows maybe some off the photos they asked us to send will come back with triangles too

We've already mused on both your speculations.
