How do you mean irritating?
Nazareth is a good suggestion, but that was never released and the Flock of Seagulls song was released in the US and gained quite a bit of acclaim. I don't think he would have wanted that clue to be to difficult as it doesn't appear to have an overall bearing. So I think he went for obvious as opposed to obscure...

Eurythmics?
Yes, spot on..

I think he means "misleading."
The ES says they donated money to "Lovetheanimals." Wanna bet that's the KLA's new incarnation?
What kind of "systems" were the dog heads hooked up to in the video? Were the dog heads still alive? I'm a big dog person so that's one of the few things I'm not sure I can stand to watch.

Well, their heads were cut off and joined to reservoir with arterial blood with arterial pums. The movie is pretty old and black-white, and you don't really see the details (you see mostly various schemes). But it isn't nice video...

I have, but no reply yet, also sent one to the Kitsune when their website was still working...still waiting for a reply also.
Go ahead and sign up anyway, they may be holding off to reply until a certain number of people have contacted them.

Another update on the blog and the Enlightenment society site. Turns out Junker Corp is back and they are behind ES and Athena and also something called Aurora, a satellite launching from Baikonour (sp?) in 3 weeks according to the newsbyte...

who wants sushi?! OMG this is HILARIOUS... check out their Athena page.
Get those posters going, I guess... I'm no artist, so I guess I'll have to stick to fish and my regular, unenlightened brain.
Whoever wins, I recommend you put that thing in the freezer...

I received the email from ES as well and have sent some information back.
As for the poster, I'm useless at art so I guess that puts me out of the running for that particular thing..

Just received a call from a representative of the ES confirming the information I submitted. I'm useless with accents, but it did sound american, but not a natural american accent if you get my meaning, sounded like it had undertones of eastern european in there as well. And they are recording the calls as well...

Just rough speculation...But wasn't Prometheus (their special meat) who stole fire to Zeus for mankind and then was chained to a rock so everyday a vulture would eat his liver and then it'd grow back?
So...are we eating some guy's liver?! (Yeah, I thought I saw someone comment w/ soylent green so I figured...)
Ugh. They're phoning people now? That's not good... I sound like a wuss on the phone (voice is too high).
Good luck to all entering the contest!

CRAPPPPPPPP
Got phoned...AND the call cut out, and I can't phone back...(So frustrated right now it's not even funny)
And I was so right. He phoned me, and was like is this Mr. Lebowski and I was like YEAH THAT'S ME. And he's like MR? And I was like YES DAMN IT, YES. (all the while using a deeper tone, but it really didn't work.)
The guy had a similar voice description as what Prizefighter said...
Only it was a hacker (for KL?). Warning me not to get involved with ES.
They think ATheNa is some sort of tiger meat compound.
Apparently when they hack, they leave messages behind but somehow ES found out. He says they just 'lost' a man, not sure if that's like he died or what. Anyways, this guy has no contact with the rest of his...operatives... in osaka? But he's hacking ES's forms to find more people and warn them.
EDIT: On another note...he didn't really sound like...I dunno, he sounded kind of confused/lost (not sure if this was intentional) I asked him questions, and he'd be like well I dunno but and or something...etc
