I digress:

I feel I need sort of a break. I haven't been feeling well recently, mentally or physically and I feel I need to calm myself before I go a bit mental on anyone here so I'm out for tonight and maybe a bit of tomorrow.

I feel I need a bit of a spiritual awakening.
I don't know what to believe anymore and honestly all the riddles and sheet is really getting old.

I'll be back in 48 Hours....in 48 or so hours...

Best of luck Will. I suggest to you, what I suggest to all people facing similar crises: read some existentialism (Sarte, Kierkegaard (sp?) Nietzche, Heidigger...even read some Samuel Beckett. It won't improve your situation, but you'll know we are all in the same plight one way or another...

Hawk are you a PHILOSOPHER?!? I have a degree in philosophy, and love existentialism more than ANYTHING (Although I'm becoming more and more of a determinist the older I get). I spent most of my time in Europe getting drunk in tiny bars, trying to channel Camus. snicker. What do you do? You're a grad student, yes?
And Will has performed some Beckett, I believe. Smart kid!

Philosopher? No lol, though I fancy myself somewhat knowledgeable about most schools of thought. I am also quite the fan of existentialism myself. I spent some time in Paris , half-drunk though well on my way, pondering the phrase "Maman died today. Or maybe yesterday" (Camus for those of you playing at home). And yes, I am a Ph.D student in history. Determinist? Thats even more dreary! WHat led you there?

Will, did you do Godot? Absurd is great!
