INFO: Graffiti

I wanted to share this graphic that clearly (I think) shows that the graffiti on the library respresents the stone circle, or whatever it is, from the trailers. I know most of us made the connection already, but since I wasted time to do it I thought I might as well share, just in case anyone missed it in the rush of info this week.

Remember, the website says that the culprits were interrupted before they finished. Arrows point out the unfinished section.

Since the grafitti is connected to a stone circle then we may be being pointed to a time. Possibly either sunrise or sunset on the spring equinox. The circles have to do with the sun striking the main stone at an appointed hour, either on the equinoxes or the longest or shortest day.

Since I've established the beginnings of contact witht he library regarding the grafitti, I'm more than happy to report our findings on to them....

Any thoughts on just what should be passed along?

And I'll share the $500 Smile

Again, I don't think this site is in-game; it was registered in 1997. Keep up the good work, though.

A lot of the stuff people post isn't in-game, but it looks like the original source material the PMs used to create the game. I'm amazed by this kind of research! Great work, people, it gives insight into the story as a whole and the way these games get made.

Reg Dates

Relying on registration dates has burned me in the past. I have to place myself in the "discount nothing" camp.

Graffiti Graphic

This graphic has been bothering me all day....it reminds me of something. It finally hit me:

A diagram of an orbit....earth around the sun, moon around the earth, etc. Could it be reference to some kind of calendar or dates?

Just a thought....so I am throwing it out here to see if it makes sense to anyone else.

I think that you are on to something...I was thinking that the stone circle looks like Stonehenge. One of the theories about the use of Stonehenge is that it was used by the ancients (druids???) as a calender to mark the passing of the seasons and such like...(maybe sacrifices were made there..shiver)

ALSO...

I noticed on the website with the blue prints of the eggroom have been signed in the lower left hand corner by T.Dobbs
Any relation to Frank Dobbs you think?????

minor thing

Got mail from Sam and he confirms this about the graffiti:
Quote:
It's really funny you mention circles, too. Because they are turning up
everywhere around here it seems. Yeah, I'm talking about the graffiti that's
been showing up in the area lately. The Mayor and the police are holding
the "probably just kids" line but, I tell you what, they would have to be some
pretty fast and smart kids because nobody's been able to catch them or link any
evidence to anyone. And this town isn't really that big, so by now, with the
parents all alerted to it, how could local kids be getting out to be making the
fresh ones that have been appearing? Like the one I saw on Greatwater General
when I went by there to try and pick up Dale's effects.
i've asked Sam twice about other photos of the other graffiti, but I don't think he's gotten to those letters yet (this one was sent to me about a letter I mailed many days ago). We'll see.

Incublogula

Question I've Been Curious About That Incublogula Site Also. It's Linked Off The Emporium Of The Weird Site, And If You Scroll Through The Entries, They have The Finding Of The Crate As An Entry, Like A Real Entry, Not A 'This Is A Game We're Watching' Entry. I Can't Tell If It's Game Related Or Not.

BTW: Hi, Newbie here. I'm `Lex, Alexius Pendragon For Long. The One From 'Round Table Investements' On The Confrence Call.

Circle

I like the idea of the stone circle being a Stonehenge-type circle and perhaps relating to dates, or astronomical occurences.

I also have another idea. Since the myth of Ong's Hat has to do with alternate dimensions, perhaps there is a stone circle somewhere that is the "gateway" to that other dimension. This oculd also incorporate the date/astronomy idea in that the gateway would open at a certain date/time based on the configuration on the stones?

If we could locate this gateway in the area around Aglaura or Ash grove Park, this could be the place where "the Wish" gains access to our world and therefore, where Dale could gain access to "the Wish."
