It started with that football game. Malice, Ark, Brody and someone behind the camera.

Ark and Malice got in a fight, Brody pulled them away. But the question is, why did they fight? and better yet, what became of this?

Ok so present. Brody is traveling around. He is in contact with us via email and face book. Ronnie is dead, the film is doing well, and Brody wants to disappear for a while.
BUT
He is also contacting us saying the dark is cold and deep, and Ronnie is having conversations with Connie.

Wild Speculation about the future:
He dies in the water somewhere and Ronnie tries to come back from the grave to tell us to prevent it.

Wild Speculation about the past:
umm. The football videos show the beginning of a rift in an important friendship. The conflict among this group of friends has larger implications for the film project, and perhaps for the relationship between Ronnie and Brody. Perhaps one of the characters is angry enough to orchestrate the car accident? Kill Brody? Booby trap the film project? put diaruetics in Brody's applesauce?

I think the pele'____________________ clue may make sense now because pele' means skin, and pigskin is a nickname for a football (and, of course, the name of my team the 'Skins). Is Brody skinless because he didn't have the football? I'm thinking of the Hey Brother image where his arm is out, and the ball's in the air going toward Malice. Eager for more of that tale to unfold...

I always refrenced skinless to "without protection", but your idea seems to make some sense.
