Look just above the first head. There's an oval-ish thing the size of his head. In between the next two heads is a rectangular thing that goes up about a metre. These two shapes are a different shade to the skin.

oooh... i see it now... but it dissapears in the next image... and all i see in its place is a knuckle.

In the next image the fingernails can't be seen because they're already below ground. The reason the knuckles 'replace' them is that the hand moved down so fast that the knuckles are now where the fingernails were.

Look where the fingers join the hand, in the first image it's in line with the bottom of the traffic light whereas in the second it's below the street light.

Only problem with this theory is... watch how little the wrist of the creature moves between those frames. Theres no way the fingers could have gone down THAT much with the wrist moving so little.

The distance the wrist moves looks the same as the distance the finger moves to me. The wrist distance might look smaller than it is due to different opinions on exactly where it is. In the first image, I once thought it was at the same level at the street light, however now I think that it's in a higher place. Look at the knuckle of the finger on the left and trace its outline (the outer line) up to the hand. The place where the line disappears is where I think it is, and would be consistent with the finger moving that same distance.

Regardless, the fingernails in the first image cannot be misinterpreted knuckles because there is no finger below them (you can see this easily in the one on the left), so what is shown must be the tips of them.

Edit: xboyonfirex, your diagram does makes sense...I still can't agree with it though.

It really pisses me off that they would show the monster on TV. That was like the whole draw of the movie for people.

Well if it was only filmed in America, then, well, they shoulda saw it already, it's been 2 weeks Neutral

I know people don't like to see a movie when its crowded, but still.
