I stumbled across something today that may or may not turn into an ARG. Have you heard of the You Sucjk at Photoshop web video series? Well, the latest episode has contextual clues pointing to an in-character (read: fake) website. Hmmm...

 		Ok, I just sent an e-mail to Donny Hoyle, asking about what he does at phebco, etc.

Apparently "breadcrumb" is a term used for a trail of sorts (i.e. Hansel / Gretle), yet the URL leads nowhere. Any ideas?

In web design, a breadcrumb is a style of menu that sort of shows the trail you took (from the top level navigation of the site) to the page you're looking at. For instance, if you're looking at a product page, there's typically a menu at the top that looks like:

Acme >> Products >> Anvils >> 2001-Mark-3 Titanium Anvil

Each of those items (except maybe the last) is a clickable link to return you to a higher-level nav. If you arrived at that page by clicking down through the navigation system, that's your breadcrumb back to where you were previously (like Hansel and Gretel.) If you arrived at the page by searching.... well, the metaphor sort of doesn't hold up, but you still have a convenient way back to a higher-level page.

In this case, I don't think I'd look for any deeper meaning in the term's usage.

 		The videos can be downloaded at mydamnchannel.com, although they were made at the same resolution as YouTube now encodes to natively. If you view them fullscreen, and pause them or slowly scroll through, the depth of humor in the details is pretty amazing. Take a peek at #4 at the Firefox Bookmarks bar. I also noticed something else and went to have a peek:

I noticed that donniehoyle.com is also registered by the same people, but is empty at the moment. We should keep an eye on it.

I also sent emails to Donnie and the company asking about a job.

I am also guessing there is a Yamauchi Waste Co. site out there somewhere. Havent been able to find it though.
