Wha-? Moving MGP inland sounds pretty cool, but that would be unrealistic.

FANCFIC BELOW

MGP shakes off the missile barrage and scrambles back into the water, swimming from shore. The Army acts retarded sometimes and has a huge urge to kill the thing, so they follow it and attacks it. They go back to re-fuel/re-supply, but they already have dozens of sattelites tracking MGP. So they launch attack after attack, and by then, other countries would've start lending helping aids with the military also, since the Atlantic connects to a lot of countries, and each nation is afraid of having their shores beat up.
Out of some crazy coincidence, MGP is forced a little north until the nations exhaust their military supplies...

2 days later...

MGP probably knows his way home, and goes for the Mid-Atlantic Trench.
The US is still recovering from the carnage, so most of the European forces go after it. As once again the forces are driven off, MGP has rested enough and chases one small carrier boat to it's motherland- the UK

 		how bout my home town...Sydney, Australia???

We have a harbour, centennial park, city on both sides of the harbour, the sydney opera house, sydney harbour bridge (widest in the world), and we have luna park (which is like a small amusement park)
