[SPEC] Trying to make some since out o this film
[SPOILERS]

CONTAINS SPOILERS WARING!!!!!!!!!

ok here goes

i saw the movie opening day and loved it, i didn't stay after the credits to hear the message that says "ITS STILL HERE". so i went back again and saw it later, this time i saw the object fall in the water in the last scene and i heard the voices and got a better look at the monster. when i got home that night i saw a commercial for it on tv, this commercial reveald the monsters face. i was slighly confused because the monster in the commercial was smaller and had a mouth sort of like a PREDATOR, and i didnt see any red lung type structures. i recall that the monster that ate hud had a mouth like a crocodile and those red lungs. this is what led me to believe that there were two monsters. most likely a mom and baby, i thought that the baby was the one revealed in the commercial. my theory is that the species of monster was woken up by the drilling for slusho and that they had a chance to breed and then go back to sleep for another 100 years, and that the object that fell in the water woke up the smaller baby monster. that baby monster attacked new york due to anger and its cries awoke the parent monster that is seen at the end of the movie. also the company that is making the cloverfield monster toy says that it comes with 2 interchaneable heads. i thought this was strange if there was only 1 monster. i would appreciate feed back and other ideas , thanks

Edit - Tagged, (had to slim the title slightly, sorry) and corrected bbcode - MikeyJ

I think what he meant to say was "welcome." I'm new here too and most people tend to get really upset if you mention something that's already been discussed (over the last year). I learned the same way. I think the monster action figure has two heads to show it's two moods: confused and pissed off. I've also noticed some differences in the monster's face. Sometimes it looks really flat and other times it looks elongated. Maybe that's just animation issues, but it could be a good explanation for the size variations from scene to scene.

Hello and welcome theaisforawesome Wink

If you're looking for places to catch up on what's been going on so far, the wiki has a load of sweet and informative treats. There is also a delicious facts only thread from TheRabbit containing concentrated goodness.

If you have any questions about stuff that you think might have been covered before then there's a questions thread here. Searching before posting gets you borwnies, but we know that this isn't always 100 % effective, so no problems Wink

Enjoy your stay sir/madam.

Bah, no need to apologize man. I'm usually pretty helpful (without being an ass) about this, you just caught me at a bad time... and were one of like 8+ posts of things that have been covered within a couple mintues. Sorry if I came off as a little harsh.
