At the general's request I have been examining the text of this message using an anagram program among other things and I haven't found anything that would lead me to believe that there is anything here. I believe the text is what I call event-specific in that it relates to an existing message or will serve to clearify an upcoming message on another site like J&R.
I do wonder if it is a sort of diary from one of the boys missing in the SHC site. Just a thought.
But I feel pretty sure there is more to come and people will receive more texts. It doesn't "feel" finished yet.

I am completely new to the Tooman trail, having only followed the clues since January 11, 2008. I've read every post to catch up, and wanted to add something useful. I hope others will find my failure described herein contributory to avoiding a false trail.

I also signed up for, and received, the messages posted above (I'm on AT&T wireless); however, I realized I really could not afford daily text messages. The sign-up page on the JNR site instructed visitors to text "Stop" to 94444 to discontinue messages, so I obeyed. I received an automated response from 1111487101 confirming my request.

It worked for 24 hours, and then I received two more messages today (02/03/2008) at 1:14pm PST and 4:18 PST, the latest two. This led me to think the 9444 number is meant for something else.
So I sent another stop request, and received another confirmation. Then I slapped my self in the face Dunce and sent, "Who are you? Where are you? Are you safe?" to 94444. The reply was automated stating 94444 could not understand my message and reminding me to use the instructed keyword ("Stop").

I also wondered if 1111487101 was more than an automated router. It cannot be a telephone number, because 111 (or any between 000 and 199) are "special codes...available to operators or automatically associated with certain toll calls to modify routing or call-handling logic." I then thought it might be an IP, so I looked up various permutations of the number on ARIN, and found only one hit: A real DoD website - www.nic.mil. I ran away fast.

The lessons: 94444 is not a backdoor. 1111487101 is just a router.

Oh well.

Alright, so far the only capitalized letters are 2 I's and a P. the Probably is set off oddly also. Mean anything? who knows. lol Working on it though

Since you got messages on 97777, try texting in Stop to 97777 instead of 94444. Maybe that will stop the messages ....

Unfortunately, I had no more success texting back to 97777 than others who tried already. The JNR website specifically instructs, "To opt out text 'Stop' to 94444." I wasn't so concerned that the messages did not stop as I was concerned that I missed a clue. But, I was wrong.
