If you really wanted to look at this realistically, the 'baby' that is MGP would be as impossible to exist (move, stand, breathe) on the surface of the Earth as his hypothetical mom.

So it's a good thing this is a movie.

No animal that big can get enough oxygen, pump enough blood to its head, and even support its own weight. Of course, this is some sort of "hyperdense" creature... ANd it certainly is supposed to have unique miraculous systems that take care of its metabolism and blood supply... But, since all that is not in any way realistical to begin with, then it's as easy to assume it's just a baby, and a "mommy" ten times as big can still be a possibility. A cheesy possibility, but a possibility nonetheless.

They don't stand erect, or support their weight on land. And this thing is like 100 blue whales.

I don't know, man, I thought it was pretty "realistical".

But they do get enough blood to their heads and are able to supply themselves with enough oxygen...I agree with you that its unbelieveable but its a monster movie...its fun to think that could be something this big at the bottom of the ocean in a trench somewhere

And once it again its a movie...please dont destroy it with scientific "isms"

LOL realistical...funny spelling mistakes

Well yes- because they do not stand erect on land, but swim in the sea.

I agree, but that wasn't my point.

Yes! That was my point. This is a monster movie. The monster is absurd anyway. Why should we dismiss his hypothetical mom because of realism? I can only think of aesthetic reasons Smile

He's actually right. The only reason he/she/it is able to exist is because it's in the water, where his weight is supported. As soon as he came onto land he would pretty much collapse under its own pressure due to gravity.
What a shitty movie that would be..."I saw it, it's alive....wait...no it's not, my bad."

Ahhh ok I get it now...makes sense

Although that would be funny to watch it collapse lol

Maybe thats why they put that whole thing falling at the end...to show that their previous statement about the 1000 years under the ocean thing was flawed and now its an alien?
