Man you really do see the "Deer in the headlights look" but I think that MGP looks better with the mouth closed, probably because it looks more like a real monster.

Simple explanation for the size thing: The animators either A: goofed (you see size issues in a lot of movies with large CGI if you look close enough), B: delibrately did it (to fit it in the screen) or C: were told to by Abrams or Reeves (for dramatic effect, probably).

Great, GREAT post mike r. I have, anyway, a question: do you have some shots of the monster seen from beth's apartment, just after her rescue?! From what i can remeber(i could be wrong anyway), the monster was pretty clear there. Thank you Wink

I thought all this size discrepancy stuff in the Hud scene was solved a week or two ago. as i pointed out in another thread or this one way back, sorry didnt look where it was, in that scene, you can see the camera auto focus right before MGP looks down, hello, its a camera, it was zoomed in on him. You cant go by how big it looks in that scene because the cam was zoomed in , thats why it looks smaller. And im not the only one who pointed this out. Quite a few others have too

man, its still hard to see the shape of the parasites... Confused

looks like they got a long-ass jaw/head, followed by a short midsection, followed by like, a shrimp tail...
