but that looks NOTHING like Clovey.
It does, though...the face, especially. I think the air-sacs might be improved a bit, but the "people suckers" are fairly dead on, as well as the front legs.
I'd say it's pretty accurate. Obviously not perfect, but definitely somewhat accurate.

Holy crap, 200 bucks for that thing? No thanks.
Its more than the damn real toy...I do like how they call it MGP tho...lol
That struck me as odd, too, callling it Baby "MGP". Someone's either been lurking or is a member here. Cute concept though, but for 200 smackers, I'll just keep the memories or buy the Hasbro version.

I completely overlooked that they called it MGP... I probably noticed it, but that name is so ingrained into my memory that I never realized that they used the nickname for the monster. If anything, most official places call it either "Clover" or simply "Cloverfield Monster."

Yea, I am pretty sure that UF'rs are responsible for the name MGP. Although the OP escapes right now.

First use of "grumpy pants"
First use of "Mr. Grumpy Pants" (6 from the bottom)
I cant find the OP for "MGP."
BTW, a little gem Google Ads gave me while searching:

That friggin' SOL head freaks me out more than the monster. I've never see Lady Liberty look so satanic and so happy at the same time.

Awww.. ... It's sooo cute! Honestly, just imagining our MGP as that cute lil' squiddler makes me want to snorgle it (the crotch cricket, not so much), and the SoL ' bebe head is just the right touch..! ...

You guys should take a look at www.kryptkiddies.com that makes the baby monster. They've got one for Predator, Aliens, Venom, and more.
Creepy looking stuff. Although kind of cool looking, no way in hell are these things worth $200.

I think it's brilliant. The paint-work is fantastic, look at the teeth and veining on his lung-sacks... awesome. I like his little face, he's actually really cute. Crotch Cricket is sort of hard to make out. I hate dolls, so that liberty-head is just icky to me.
I'd never part with that kind of money for a what amounts to shelf-clutter. But it's admirable to look at. I think the $100+ the hasbro toy is priced at is way too much. If it were $8.99; sure.... it's plastic. But I don't subscribe to the whole collectible thing.
