[QUESTION] Parallels between Dana/Margaret and Widow/Queen

Does anyone see any parallels between the relationship that Dana has with her aunt and the Widow/Queen? Is this something worth pursuing?

Dana is helping Margaret who is extremely distressed (as Dana reveals in multiple emails) by attempting to repair the site, and the Widow is helping the Queen (SPDR helping the main construct) by attempting to repair her.

That's pretty much where the similarities end, but I thought it might be of some importance, since some people in the forums have been suggesting that whatever has taken over the ilovebees site might attempt to take over Dana and/or Margaret.

i'm surprised nobody has noticed the queen/widow = bee/spider correlation. queen bee i know is relatively old news concernign this. but i haven't seen any speculation about the relatioship of a queen bee with a widow spider. i was unable to find any specific information about widow spiders eating bees, but they eat insects in general.

intersting thing is, they are preyed upon by mud-daubers (a kind of wasp) and nothing else...

mud-daubers are somewhat small variety wasps, with yellow-and-black markings like bees. they could easily be confused for african killer bees. and i find it interesting further that the widow wanted to bring the queen back to life...with a knife...

...revenge...?

More similarities

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already - I've checked the wiki and searched this forum, so apologies if I missed it:
Has anyone noticed the similarites in word usage between Dana and the AI[s]? Specifically, I refer to the repeated references to finding the signal in the noise. Since phase 2 began, the AI has been talking about how it is good at pulling the signal from the noise, and about how it's having trouble. Before network throttling had eroded, Dana wrote to Ian Rickard (inio):
Quote:
lots of attention
now, although I'm having a hard time processing all of it. lots of
noise, hard to follow the signal...

It has been noted that she sounded rather computer-like at the time, but this is distinctly suspicious.

It's close, but I'm going to call this Trout . See this thread. Still one of the more interesting SPECs around, IMHO, though personally I'm inclined to write it off as, "Hey, Dana's a web programmer, of course she talks like that!" Mr. Green

well... web programmers don't talk like that.

Programmers talk like that. Engineers talk like that. But people who use google tools to design basic websites are neither.

There's also the 'must process' comment from one of dana's emails.
The thing is, Dana was trying to undo the SPDR's work. So I doubt there's supposed to be any direct correlation there.
