I believe that, the people who are posting links to correct spellings of "retarded" are just proving the point of the people spelling it "retarted"...irony at its best. Maybe the "retarded" people should look up "retarted" (sorry for how that sounds, but it fits, in a way, lol).

Wha...What?

I was waiting for that.

My point is, the people who insist on "retarded" are proving the point of the people who spell it "retarted"...that the people who don't know a lot about this place (which, in general, would be people who haven't been around here very long) won't know the significance of "retarted".
"Retarted" isn't wrong. Well, it is, lol, but, yet, it's not.

Ah.

I guess I wasn't around for that then.

Oli, were you around for the invention of "Retart?" If not, you won't really understand what it is.

Its nothing more than an inside joke on the forums... idk why you all keep posting the normal spelling. Also, notice how we put it in quotes...

As stated above, I must have not been around for it. It was probably during one of unFiction's dry spells.

Here is the link to SpaceBass' quote and I'll put it here too:

I was wondering, however, do you think once the movie is out, this ARG may actually continue...?
It would be a nice reward and make the film more memorable and it would save us from a potentially terrible sequel that is only made to fill in plot holes.

You've probably already figured this out but I can confirm the answer is "yes." We're working on organizing a post-campaign chat with the Puppetmasters...details to come when the campaign is, well, over. Wink

Seriously who came up with that name anyway?

Just call it the monster or TCM (the Cloverfield Monster)

Just use whatever term you please for it, and if you put in context correctly people will know what you're talking about. There are plenty of fine names for it and they'll all lose validity if they name the monster in the sequel (the cast has been calling it clover, but I like cloverfield as a name for the monster even if that is just the name of its government file).

TCM is the Turkish Cat Mafia, from an MMA(Mixed Martial Arts/UFC) forum... that's why you can't call it TCM...

BTW, thanks to LamboDiablo for posting the whole "retarted" backstory... I now feel "edumacated"...

TCM stands for Turner Classic Movies (it's a TV channel).
