Probably something like we saw on:

Which seems to be missing, now. Embarassed

IMDB?

Could IMDB refer to the IMDb website? They review movies. Just a though, so I searched the phrase. The top match was for The Pink Panther Strikes Again.

Good lord, we're up to our eyes in Morse this week. Let me know what's not been solved and I'll fill in the gaps. I've found it's fastest to do this visually in something like Audition or Audacity.

ETA: Jeebus, DOUBLE Morse encoding?!

MrToasty, none of it's been solved yet. Most of the guys in chat had to go to bed. Rogi had to leave for a bit but he's working on it. So start at the beginning. Natas broke it down into 11 smaller sections if that helps. Rogi and Rekidk believes that it's morse to binary so once you get the morse solved to the binary you will then need to solve the binary. good luck.

eta: didn't see your edit. What's the double all about?

One long would actually be easier I think. So far the Morse resolves to more dots, dashes, and slashes. Of course I've had a couple beers and may go have another, so it may take awhile Smile

Complete version:
Quote:
AND IT'S SADDENING TO THINK THAT SUCH ACTS ARE CONCEIVEABLE. I'D LIKE TO

To solve:
Code:
.-.-.- = .
-....- = -
-..-.  = /

Gives:
Code:
.- -. -.. / .. - .----. ... / ... .- -.. -.. . -. .. -. --. / - --- / - .... .. -. -.- / - .... .- - / ... ..- -.-. .... / .- -.-. - ... / .- .-. . / -.-. --- -. -.-. . .. ...- . .- -... .-.. . .-.-.- / .. .----. -.. / .-.. .. -.- . / - ---

Now it's off to get more beer... Wink

good job MrToasty, I guess we add that to the previous message we've got started. If so, it now reads this:

Quote:
Participants should be warned external forces are trying to compromise the integrity of project Ophiuchus. Thankfully past attempts have been unsuccessful and our servers have managed to withstand multiple denial of service attacks. However, the predicted success of phase has decreased to 0.45. Participants are to continue with their duties until notified. Contingencies are being made against future acts of corporate espionage and it's saddening to think that such acts are conceivable. I'd like to

I concur on the solve.

I did it via the raw data in the file and thought I could just do a bunch of global replaces to get at the dots and dashes. Then I found that there isn't a hex editor out there that can deal with hex(00) in a replace action (most of the file).

It'd have been easier in the end to just slow down the file and key it into a converter.

Good job, MrToasty!

Note: I removed the sectioned off morse code to not confuse anyone reading this later on. Great job Toasty.
