I think they should call it Greyshot. Something about that name appeals to me.

I don't think they should. That would have been a good name for the first one, not the second one.

I Agree.
I think we can all Agree it wont be Cloverfield 2 or Cloverfield II.
Thats just...no...stupid.
The Otherside of Cloverfield, Cloverfield: Tape Two/2/II, or Hammerdown, in my mind, would be pretty cool.
If it was Hammerdown, that could mean it focuses on the militarys POV.

"Hammerdown" sounds pretty sweet to me...

I don't know...I still think Hammerdown sounds too mainstream.
Oh, and btw, imho, Greyshot would've sucked as a title. Just sayin.

Whatever the title is I think we can all agree that the catchphrase should be "It's still alive."

Unless they just do the same sequences from a different angle

one of my thoughts on it is the release date. now if memory serves the attack happens friday may 22nd and saturday may 23rd, and when do you ask is the next time that may 22nd falls on a friday? 2009. they made this one from greenlight to screen in under 1 year, that will give them a few extra months to make this one more "big time" i think that the second movie will be done good old fashion movie style with little to no handi-cam. also i dont think that it will take place in New York (maybe, but with the whole "it's still alive" thing it makes me think that this second movie will take place chronologically after the first one). And i know it would be completely against jj abrams style but i think that in the second movie we will get some... WAIT FOR ITT!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like somebody moonlights on the imdb boards. For shame.
Except that I love RasGold a whole whole very lot, so no shame.[/i]

Right. Then it could be "You thought it was over...it's only just begun."
Hell it works for every Saw movie, i predict they'll still be using that dried up old phrase when Saw XXXVI comes out.

A sequel by now is almost 100% sure but if we really want to know more about the nature/origin of the monster itself, the new movie would have to be based in a military POV I guess. Otherwise, from the POV of some other luckier group of people, would only show the monster's escape into the sea or his destruction.
One of those pics in the 1-18-08.com website show something being heavily attacked by naval and air forces. That's the monster for sure. I wonder if he finally escaped into the sea ...
That pic can't show something that happened before but only and only after the monster's attack in the city ...
