Brody Hawkins

Brody is an amazing and tortured documentary filmmaker. Living and working in New York, he is originally from the town of Ambrosia, MA.
He is a very private person, and a lot of his thoughts and feelings are hidden from those around him. Last year Brody not only had to cope with the death of his sister, Laney, but also with death of Veronique – the love of his life.

Brody had planned to propose to Veronique on the night she died. He had bought a ring 6 months previously, only to have Laney pass away on the very same afternoon. This caused the thought that the ring may be cursed to enter Brody's head, and prevented him from fulfilling his wishes earlier.

From the death of Veronique, we have witnessed Brody falling down a slippery slope. He began drinking heavily and the things he was writing in his blog were becoming very dark and haunting. He is determined to complete 48 Hours in Purgatory, as it was Veronique's idea to start with, and he feels that it will honour her memory.

At the moment, we are unsure of Brody's whereabouts. He has mentioned in the past that he has travelled to Ireland and England, as well as up to Toronto and as far down as Arizona. Our last confirmed destination was the Super Bowl in Arizona, but no-one is quite sure where he has gone on to from there.

Marisa Veronique Villemarie – aka Ronnie, V, Veronique

Veronique was a beautiful and talented young woman. Originally from Montreal in Canada, Ronnie has been living and working in New York for the past few years. Part of the team at SKG films, Ronnie developed an intimate relationship with Brody Hawkins. She contributed a lot to the business itself, being both the office assistant and a muse to Brody.

48HIP was her idea. She kept a notebook, in which she wrote song lyrics, quotations and ideas for new projects, and marketing ideas for projects they were already working on. Ronnie won awards for her documentary film "Ink and Ashes", which was about people using the ashes from their deceased loved ones to create a tattoo of memorial forever.

Ronnie was in love with Brody, but had never worked up the courage to tell him outright. She was with Brody on the night she died. Ronnie's body was taken back to Canada by her parents, where the cremation and the memorial took place.

Before her death, we were able to keep in regular contact with Ronnie through her e-mail at SKG. After her death she has contacted us through video mail, cell phone and in person, meeting Connie (Idta) for a coffee in Toronto. We have been told by Ronnie that our main goal is to help Brody.

Arkham X aka Ark

Arkham is described as Brody's "right hand man". He started out with the company as a cameraman, but is now working for SKG in a security capacity. Arkham is involved in both Brody's reality and ours, and has interacted with us previously on the IG forum. We have had very little contact with him. He has been spotted in many of the videos that we have been given, and is believed to be a friend of the rest of the characters.

Jagt aka Jet

Jagt was not, until recently, a very important character in this story. For a long time he was rarely, if ever, mentioned and we were fed very little information about him. Even now we don't really have much to go on.
Jagt is the assistant editor and stedicam operator for SKG. He has a web log that Icarus has been keeping a good account of. He was contacted for a brief time through e-mail, both in our time (2007/2008) and in the future (2009).

Joseph McNabb aka Nabsy

Nabsy has only been mentioned a couple of times and is Brody's manager. We have no contact details for him.









Ok, so if anyone has anymore detail that they want included in this (cause I know I don't have all of it) please PM me and i'll update. I don't think we need to go into too much detail with the spirits and subjects, but again PM me. I have a good account for most of the spirits and Mandy did a really good job with the subjects before.
