that was one of the first things I tried Smile
can't remember if I tried each version of potential numbers (at the start I couldn't quite make out the numbers, so maybe I'll try again with my current numbers).

But yeah, the order of the 6 input fields matters, so IF it is some variation of the gps coordinates to enter, how do we determine the correct order? Cameras found? (the crime scene wasn't a camera) Pictures taken? (crime scene isn't a picture taken location, but rather the building's location) Modified cameras? (there's only 5, the other is a photo)

let's see...
CA) 34.261553 -118.496448 = vpisteve's camera location
NY) 40.714924,-73.991906 = zoltan's (photo?) location
FL) 28.683445 -81.396604 = madeatdark's camera location
TX) 30.474281 -97.985428 = rosekitty's camera location
SF) 37.947057 -122.570434 = San Fran (camera?) location
SF) +37° 53' 39.28", -122° 31' 41.60" = building Jake was murdered in
....or 37.894244 -122.528222

so what's the commonality between all 6? At best, they're not all camera locations, they're not all photo locations, and they're not all gps decimal locations...

OK, I'm sure this was probably suggested in chat but I haven't stuck my head in that room yet - maybe either city or state names associated with each coordinate?

Heh, well I'm glad we're thinking along the same lines.

We could try the order they're written in Mike's notes:
1) NY 40.714924,-73.991906
2) SF 37.947057 -122.570434
3) CA 34.261553 -118.496448
4) TX 30.474281 -97.985428
5) FL 28.683445 -81.396604
6) SF +37° 53' 39.28", -122° 31' 41.60"

I can't think think of any other numerical sequences we could input other than the numbers from the TBTF page. But we have seven of those not six.

I think city and state name makes sense.

I go into the chat room whenever I can, but I never seem to get in there when anyone wants to talk... Sad

Exclude the last number. It's the countdown. Yes, at first it wasn't moving, but it is now, and has been for awhile.

Just curious if the result of entering the 6 values as listed above will produce something like the output, below.

I submitted a handful of photos to EniTech last night for processing (Which I'll post in the pics thread when I can get the time to upload them), and have just received a reply.

Thanks so much for your submission. We will have Anna process it as

Sounds like she's gone to ground.

yeah Rogi, that was one of the first sets I tried, and I tried botht he numbers from the video, and the numbers from the xml it pulls from (the last number is different for some reason and I can't figure out why - it's 0350 rather than 0232). Neither produce anything meaningful.

Like I said, the diagram for each number set is generated at random - aech set being used as the seed for the random number generator (thus each time you enter the same set, the same diagram will result, but if anything changes, there's no pattern to it - a different diagram is randomly different)

I'm hoping there'll be a hint somewhere as to what exactly is to be input, and how.

Let's hope that Anna heeded the warning I forwarded to her from the Resistance and she's in hiding, not something worse...

New blog post says she's been working elsewhere all week.

Yes, she has been working somewhere else (Dyson?), but Enitech has also said that they can't reach her at the moment, which isn't good.

And I got skunked on the props! I sent in the message as well! I don't think it's very nice of them to only recognize one person when I'm sure that plenty of us sent in the message!

Looks like I'm in:
http://enitechlabs.com/blog/?p=110
They accepted my crude animation using bruce's tracings.

Also looks like the floodgates may open for everyone to join BlueCom now as well.

nicely done! good job toasty Smile
can't tell if you've got the latest complete/fixed diagrams in there, but the video can updated if necessary Smile I think a couple of the early tracings versions had a small line or two missing. I may just update the PNG's, then you can updated the video if you want (if they're not already fixed)...

Look at your original single-number tests again. You had one where the nodes were digits 1 through 6, another where all nodes were 1. On both of these, the east slice has its coordinates plotted identically. This tells us that the first node controls the output of the plots in the east slice. Since the plots also appear identical in the other slices with the same input (all nodes = 1), it means that the other nodes do not affect the plotting of successive nodes, only for the slice that relates to its own node. Since in these test cases no lines are drawn between the northeast and east slices, we can safely assume that the northeast slice correlates to node 6, and that the nodes correlate to the slices in a clockwise pattern, although the possibility exists that this is false. More testing with single digit combinations would be able to determine this.

Bruce, you've tried different methods of inputting the GPS coordinates as a pair. Have you considered finding the sum value of the pair and inputting that instead? Or since they are all negative, their positive equivalent?
