Interesting... so as I said earlier there is a coordinate location that comes up when you decompile the flash. I asked DysonTrust if that number was what they were looking for and they just sent me this:
Quote:
Yes, that information is our placeholder data. When the system actually feeds back a correct value (not an unexpected cascade event), that data is dynamically changed to reflect the actual result. It's actually a nice little coffee shop just down the street from Enitech where we meet those guys all the time to talk about mutual research developments. They're literally right up the street from there (at ll=37.862577,-122.492763).

SO we don't actually have the "answer" from the flash file... interesting!

So, 10 Liberty Ship Way, Bay 2 seems to be the place indicated by the coordinates. Which is home to the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce and the LibertyShip Gallery

So, it gives us a place to go have coffee... let me fly to San Fran for that! LOL! Laughing

Although there's really only one "Biehn" I'm interested in, and he has nothing to do with coffee... Twisted Evil

Well, since it's out, the coordinates they responded with aren't the correct coordinates.

The coordinates in the Flash file are...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
37.859576 -122.48479

...which seems to be a nondescript building on the edge of the bay, near the Sausalito harbor...

...which, from the air, *could* be a coffee shop. Smile

*EDIT*
Actually, NOWHERE in the Flash file do I see that code getting replaced with an appropriate response. The only things the Flash file does on success is clear the existing prompts and show the rest of the movie clip (which has the coordinates at the end).

I *could* technically be wrong on that, of course.

No matter... we need to find the proper answer if only for the game's sake.

A graphic design company called Lucid Press may be in the area, as well.
Though, their site seems to be gone, as of March of last year per the Wayback Machine.

(EDIT: Link removed 'cause it was wrong.)

Anna is supposed to have more tachyon images processed. Should that be the case, maybe we'll get more help from the Resistance. Unless of course the future members don't know where to put the street signs. Smile

My Gmaps links are all messed up, now.

On an unrelated note, my photo submissions got a response:

Thanks so much for your submission. We'll pass these onto Anna as
soon as we can reach her.

Doesn't sound good for Anna...

I guess the message didn't get to Anna in time. I know I got the message on Friday and sent it off immediately... Assuming that she resurfaces, I think that they might want to invest in pagers or some manner of system so that they can contact one another in emrgency situations.

Very odd. I hope she's okay.

Damn it! NOW who's going to process my pictures?!? Razz

*EDIT*

Sent a message earlier to The Resistance (takebackthefutureSPLATgmail.com):

Quote:
We have access to the Dyson Trust BlueCom site. We're trying to make
sense of this in the hopes of helping the resistance, but we don't
know how to proceed. We're trying to enter data but we don't know how
exactly to get the proper result.

To be honest, we know the result (we have a location), but need
confirmation through the terminal in order to proceed.

...and got a response:

Quote:
The result you have is only a place holder.

The real answer only comes from knowing your enemy.

OK... what the hell does that mean?

Guess I'll be watching SCC tonight. Andy (Turk guy) is on again as well something about chess. I don't think we'll get anything direct from there, but maybe it'll give us an idea as to where this is going.

I really like where this is going...

If we consider that the show events are from 2007, and we're playing events in '08, then we can assume that The Turk is still ticking right now (so therefore sarah was never able to destroy the turk through the whole series - since we received the message that the turk is not dead, now).

and of course the military contract... hmmmmmm

Smile

I like that the show pretty much accepts that the war will happen, and it seems that both the good guys and the bad guys are focusing on more than just surviving and destroying, but somehow rather influencing the future...
