The past week has been a very busy one here at Aporia. We continue development on our independent game: The Aporia Agathon Project, beyond that development we have been approached on a number of other projects. One such project was to develop a puzzle trail for LagTV.com.
LagTV.com is a website for gamers with live streaming broadcasts several times per week. The broadcasts allow viewers to interact with the show through telephone calls and even over their xbox live vision cameras. I've watched a few shows and have been very impressed.
Those of you who are watching for more teasers on the Aporia Agathon Project will really enjoy the puzzle trail. The puzzle themselves are not related to the project and some are a tribute to another xbox related ARG. Solving each particular puzzle will give you a little reward that is related to the Aporia Agathon Project. So make sure you start watching LagTV , and in particular watch the show this Monday night, 11 February 2008 at 9pm EST.
Also ARGN just picked up the article. ACME Puzzle Trail Offers Hints at Future Project
It's almost 9pm, so you might want to hurry.

Hey Sylvia - thanks for posting:
The show's on now, you may need to download Silverlight to watch it if you haven't already got it:

your welcome Jas0n.
I saw the puzzle trail but i'm half blind and it went so fast I couldn't catch it. I'll have to wait for the archives when I can pause and rewind.
Did anyone else happen to catch it?

Seek the Truth, Behold the Truth, Reveal the Truth then something that looked like this " the whole of the Law will set you free" I kept hitting print screen to try and capture the right shot but this is the best I could do.
Petunia got the email: which is theheretickSPLAT gmail.com
You get this auto-response:

Well, as of this point we're up to here
The E-Mail sent back gave the following message
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
seek the truth, behold the truth, reveal the truth
that is the law and the whole of the law
success msg:
!reveal puzzle 02
loc > lagtv
seek >> bythenumbers
!reveal char > Diego
seek >> self >> tube / PicaroAsombro
Which leads you to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.lagtv.com/bythenumbers
The hint given in the title leads to a Halo reference for a skull in the game (thanks given to Jagged from the LagTV chat for this), and the answer to this page leads you to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.lagtv.com/bythenumbers.com/threeoclock.php
The page gives you a hex code that decodes to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it's a lie
and if you watched the Youtube video given earlier, you'd see a reference to a certain video game. Using the answer to this text with knowledge of said game leads you to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.lagtv.com/bythenumbers/moira.html
, which is where I'm currently stuck at the moment...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
tube: PicaroAsombro leads to the YouTube account at PicaroAsombro , conveniently added on February 1st
It's already been obliquely referenced earlier, I think, but no direct link included. And say...that YouTuber looks awfully familiar

Some thoughts on the current puzzle: the numbers are divided up into four distinct groups based on periods, making me think IP address -- however, some of the numbers go far beyond the range, and one of them is a compound fraction so that idea is out.
I tried a partial Beale cipher using each number in parentheticals as a word to look for, but must have miscounted. It's possible we're looking or a four letter chain based on the letters, but I sincerely hope not, as that's a loooooong chain.
Edited for the solve
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.lagtv.com/demons.html -- you're supposed to use the words in the source code, with each parenthetical telling you to go to the next word, and the numbers telling you the letters
.

Hmm, I'm kinda wondering where this leads, if there winds up being a new game, or if it was just to get people to join the forums.
None the less I'm gonna be watching.

Well, from the source on the final page:
Code:
Note: This is not a part of the final puzzle, the final puzzle is in the above html coding, this is meta information. This puzzle trail was a minor introduction to alternate reality games. You never ever browse through an ARG without browsing the source of the page, and obviously if you're reading this you've done it a few times now. This was not an Alternate Reality Game, it was simply a puzzle trail developed for the fine folks at LagTV.com. The content you discovered on the pages throughout held secrets and teasers for an upcoming Alternate Reality Game: The Aporia Agathon Project. The puzzles themselves were Xbox themed (not related to the upcoming project) and theHeretick's role was in respect to the first Alternate Reality Game which teased an Xbox game (ILoveBees)

Well I think I know the answer to the last riddle. If you haven't played Bioshock, don't look (Although I'll try to make it major spoiler free).
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The phrase in italics on that page "Would you kindly" was used in the game Bioshock as a major plot point. If you take it like that, the main charscter's mother in the game is "Jasmine Jolie." Anything else would really be unessecary and too much of a spoiler.
If you played the game you know what I mean, but I think I may have waffled too much to try and not spoil anything.

But yah,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Characters
might be a better place to look for the proper name.

Did you check it out for yourself? It says the same thing there. Look at the page on him:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Jack
It clearly says:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Shortly after the middle of the game, it is revealed that Jack is the illegitimate son of Andrew Ryan and Jasmine Jolene.

You need to read the link on the character on question, not the protagonist of the game.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also, you posted Jolie, not Jolene. If you follow the link for Jasmine Jolene, you would discover her actual name is: Mary-Catherine "Jasmine" Jolene

You folks are getting a little spoiler happy.
Are those Puzzle solves under the spoiler tags? Or just information and spec? Typically we save the spoiler tag for the puzzle solves and just post info & spec out in the open.
