I just recalled where we previously had an hourglass reference; it was a tag with the Wallace Breslaugh vid amandel found on dailymotion: upendedhourglass. That one also had the perplexing 30 November 1999 date. We might want to keep that date in mind for our timeline.

well then maybe we need to match our timeline with theirs to see what they see through the videos. maybe thats where the hourglass comes in. turn ourselves back and look more to the past. so we can see why the present is happening

V: I can't believe you did this. How did you pull this together?

Brody (Probably): What can I say? We know how to get things done right?

V: Yeah, that we do.

Brody: Uh...we got one more surprise for you, Ronnie.

V: What?

Brody: Hey Ark, you wanna grab that thing?

Ark gets something from the drawer. Brody moves camera a bit

Brody: Yeah, that's good.

V: Does this have to be on camera?

Brody: Yes. This is your last present from us.

Brody gives V a little black box. V reads the cover.

Ark: Just pull it out.

V: Oooh..boy

she opens the box, removes necklace

V: When did you do this? Oh my god...Put it on me?

She walks to Brody.

Brody: You. Put it on.

V: Ok.

Puts necklace on

V: This is nuts.

Brody: You look great.

V: Look at that. Not even my parents would get me something like this.

Brody gets a good close up of necklace.

Brody: Just hold on a second. That's a mark(?) for the future. Happy birthday, Ronnie.

V: Thank you. Don't make me cry now.

Brody: Yeah, like you haven't done enough of that already tonight.

V laughs.

V: Did you have to get it on tape? Show the world what kind of loser I am?

Brody: Hey, everybody. Look at the big loser.

V picks up her wine.

V: You need a glass.

Brody gets a glass. Mumbles something about walking backwards. V pours some of her wine into it and a little into Ark's glass.

V: I didn't have a family before, but now I do.

All touch glasses and drink.

V holding necklace: When did you do this, honestly? I don't know what to say anymore.

Brody: It's alright.

Arkham: Lets get out of here, alright?

Brody: Say goodnight, Ronnie.

V: Goodnight, Ronnie.

Brody: Say goodnight, Arkham.

Ark: Goodnight, Arkham.

V laughs.

this vido re-affirms to me that they both cared for her, and whole she and ark didn't see eye to eye, they were still family. Why'd they say it was the last present thought? Strange..
