wtf is dis found on the cloverfield wiki

if posted already sorry couldn't find nothing on it

On March 22nd, 2007, a prehistoric beast now classified as "Cloverfield" by the United States Government, reawakened after centuries of sleep deep within the Atlantic ocean. It came ashore at Manhatten Island, and proceeded to cause massive collateral damage and loss of life, decapitating the Statue of Liberty and destroying the Brooklyn Bridge. It was eventually defeated by the United States Military after an extensive battle, where the monster repeatedly survived various bombs and modern weaponry.

In the days following the attack, the U.S.A. Government has been working full-time to cover up the incident, forcing all witnesses and military personnel alike to swear secrecy, and the two destroyed landmarks were quickly repaired. New York City was secretly restored back to it's former glory after many months of secrecy, and a great deal of the world remained unaware of the "Cloverfield" incident.

But it is only now, in January of 2008, that we, the government, have decided to come out and expose the disaster, in response to friends and families of the people who lost their lives in the attack heavily questioning and doubting our excuses. With collaberation from producer J.J. Abrams, director Matt Reeves and a devoted cast, we have constructed a perfectly-accurate and spot-on realistic "cinematic version" of one of the many tapes and various recordings of the attack made by the victims.

We have chosen not to actually release the genuine recording to the public, to spare the victims' loved ones the traumatic viewing experience, but we have recreated a very detailed and accurate 'remake' of the tape. It is now available in theaters, and this website is part of a merchandising campaign to promote the film and reveal some of the details we have uncovered so far regarding this horrific tragedy.

Which Cloverfield wiki?

Sounds like someone just posted some fan fiction there.

Sounds like it was written by the two-year-old child of a retart. I didn't know Bush would have enough time between invasions to contribute to a wiki.

Yes, I have to agree, that is really very badly written.

It reeks of grade-schooler.
