Cloverfield/Hakaisha - Cool Japanese Merchandise Postcard with "rrooarr". People, you know surely, that Cloverfield comes to Japan in April 2008 as 破壊者 (Hakaisha, "Destroyer").

But perhaps you don't know about that cool Cloverfield related merchandise:
check it out:

Cloverfield picture changing postcard. With recording of the Monster's "rroaaarr!"
Here a crappy gif of the animation.
And link to the swf-file: http://www.04-05.jp/ticket/ticket.swf
I want it.

Cool! I wonder why we do not get those kinds of goodies in the states? Is Japan more likely to be excited about this kind of markting?
I want one too.
All of this kind of reminds me of the ICONIC birth of Godzilla. Although in my mind, Clover could kick Godzilla's arse lickety split. Sure Godzilla has the blaster breath, but Clover could reach out and Beyotch Slap Godzilla with those long ass arms.

Yeah, Paramount turned me into a merchandise hunting monster (normaly I use to be very ignorant to side marketing products), hehe.
Perhaps I'll collect in my room the whole marketing stuff. I wonder, what my girlfriend will say 'bout it
Anyway, I think ebay will be the most real source to get this gadget. If I'll know some other ways, I'll give the message here.

Perhaps it's normal two-pages-card, like X-Mas cards with music.

Biollante did that to Godzilla and was promptly blown away.
Hell, monsters with HUGE durability get their shit ruined when Godzilla starts blasting.
Back on topic - maybe we'll see more scenes? I'm getting tired of headless Lady Liberty.

Yeah the merchandise deals are going to be very interesting. The only Cloverfield merchandise(besides the Slusho! store stuff) I have found is the t-shirt at HotTopix. Wife got me one too! woot.

1300 yen = $12.14200
For a postcard expensive, but for a Cloverfield changing picture roaring monster postcard very cheap

It's gadget time! Yes, folks,
I've got it! It came to me yesterday from Japan.
It looks cool and a little bit macabre.
Here I took two videos of it.
Yesterday, as I've got it (I saw parallel LOST). It was evening and light wasn't enough, but I was too eager to wait till next day.

And the next day was great weather, so this quality is better:

Btw. the design and idea reminds me a little bit of my X-Mas postcard I've sent you gals and guys last year, http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=442393#442393 .

I love the idea, but one thing that stops me from fully enjoying that postcard is... the statue of liberty doesnt fully line up. The torch is completely different...
