Even if Brody is in fact a cutter it isn't because he's "emo". It really ticks me to hear that. He's traumatized and as you can tell by now he's been looking for an escape. I wouldn't be surprised for him to see cutting as an escape.

My ex bf did that, Will...It wasn't pretty.

I too agree that cutting has nothing to do with emo kids... They just look for attention people and they are weird and annoying. Brody has been through a major trauma and he needs to release his feelings in whatever way possible. He could be cutting himself to feel something because he feels like a rock with no emotions anymore.
