It looks liek it could be, adn it's in the right location for it. But from which direction?
I looked at Devil's Tower in Google Earth, rotated until I saw similar geographic features to the adjusted image, and then tilted the view to get the right angle. If I have it right, the camera is on a hilltop to the southeast of Devil's Tower. I know the Google earth version looks pointy at the top, but the lat/long are correct. The coordinates at the bottom the image are for the camera location.

Why, Thankee. There is a horizontal scroll bar at the top of the navigation controls that make the image tilt.
Interestingly, Black Hills National Forest is in line with that view. If we assume the camera was set on telephoto, then it could easily be there.

I agree, with one small difference.
I believe that the unit symbols with a triangle inside are choppers. More specificully, Attack Helicopters. Apaches nost likely. While they are somewhat slow, they do appear to move faster than some of the other ground units.

Calvary couldnt' be that fast though, could it? It's moving a LOT faster than a car could across that area.

I can't say that I've noticed any of them moving at all. Just the choppers and the aircraft. Everything else seems somewhat stationary.

Dunia foudn out how to open teh little blips - the "triangles" on the Redeye map.
If you get their coordinates form the redeye map, then click there on the sparkeye map, it'll open their information. Generally it's up and to the left - really annoying.

<Dunia> So the best way I can describe it is I triggered a sync on Sparkeye
<Dunia> And all of the pulses and bubbles on Sparkeye displayed the same text data from Redeye.
<Dunia> During that time, in the magnification box, below the zoom level, it said sync.
<Dunia> That's my best explanation. If I can recreate it, I'll take a screenie.
(Dunia can't access teh forums at work)
I've had something happen on the Redeye map where all of the boxes go crazy adn start disappearing one by one while putting out the reading "NaN NaN NaN NaN"

I was poking around Sparkeye and found something interesting. I noticed what seemed a different sort of flashing at -104.70416666 44.5708333333. I zoomed all the way in on it and clicked it. It took me here , which appears to be another video. I'll let you all watch it and make of it what you want, but it's obviously someone getting ambushed. Not sure who's ambushing whom, though. For what it's worth, the hex in the file name:
Code:
616d62757368666f6f74616765
translates to "ambushfootage". If this isn't new, feel free to trout me.

That's where the old Devils Tower footage was, that read "Foudn Footage". They've replaced it. Are they telling a story?

After watchign it - Those Humvees are the type Patton posted in the main thread earlier today. There's a flag on one of the humvees that I swear is a Cheyenne government flag -- I'm 90% certain that this is the convoy. The ambushers are native american, but that doesn't explain where they got the guns, teh night vision equipment, etc, adn why theyr'e engaging this group (assassination of the president, perhaps?)
I can't heelp but worry we're missing something
