so either 11 or 27. hope this isnt chewing into ur funds to much
i have no idea how much these phone calls r costing u.
there will probably be a link between 3 or 7 (although that was the pass)
or prime numbers.

I can see how the idea of trying to get into her voicemail seems kinda like crossing a line. But then why would that password have been set to something that people could so easily guess?
I don't see why it wouldn't have been an arbitrary number.

well, i saw this site the other night.. where you put in the area code and the prefix, so im going to try and look into/find that site again, also, i am limiting my calling (free nationwide Long Distance) bc otherwise ill get locked out
there is also specualtion of it being a 4 number box.. but its not 510, been there, done that. 0924 perhaps? we shall see.

So then, how long would it take to try every possible two-digit combination you think?

Unless we get a clear clue that we should hack into her voicemail, we really shouldn't. The problem is that if one of you did get access, then that means the player's could alter in-game content and ruin the game for everyone. Dana's blog is a subtle way for the PMs to say that we shouldn't hack into the VM, ditto for hotmail and website.
And so in short: Don't hack into the voicemail

As the AI is supposedly spreading as it is being repaired, is it safe to assume that it would gain control of her voicemail? Perhaps clear her mailbox, change the message... use it as a medium of communication?
Is there any theories as to what her message to her mom might mean if not just be a simple message? Like when she states, "I know you're calling just to hear the sound of my voice," perhaps she is referring to the AI and letting us on to the fact that she understands how dangerous the situation is. Thus leading us to believe she wouldn't be so foolish as to try to escape to China.

We don't know that YET, so it's better to leave it alone for now. When we know for sure then yeah it's entirely possible.

Could this chinese be interprted another way as something about loneliness? i.e:
Quote:
where you pull noise aside like the flesh of a cooked trout to reveal the gleaming skeleton of signal inside. Very often it's a spill of /// words. Once, for instance, she sunk her probe into my brain and out leaked the word for "loneliness" in three hundred languages.**
I was thinking it might have something to do with the password for the bee2_margaretphoto.jpg. mmm, but then what would Dana know about the pword for this...
...just brainstorming.

Yeah I'd also spec that when we are supposed to try and hack voicemail we would somehow be told that. Perhaps Dana, or whoever, would say "I've been getting very strange messages on my voicemail, I don't know what they mean" or words to that effect. Is it even legal?

Sorry Cyphex, but can you provide me with a link to that photo?
Thanks.

Its the front photo of the Ilovebees page, there are a few so you need to refresh to get them all. The Wiki Puzzle page explains it.
