In Vent earlier, someone mentioned that they didn't understand this week.. I gave my opinion as something like this:

I think we are the moonkeys and we have been trained. They posted on the sl.com site that it was an intermission week and most of us accepted that with no problems. We found there was actually content and when we were told not to share... we revolted in a sense. This week is about being out of our comfort zone I think. aout pushing our personal envelopes and asking questions within questions. We were asked for Art/poetry etc... I mentioned to Loli that if I had the ability to make these videos I would use them to post my questions. I think that the people wjo got codes in email.. Those codes are for them. only. I think that is some way, we will be each given our own individual ways way to access the addtional site content. Then I added my usual exclaimer, that that is just my opinion."

Here is the last message I got from 5D:

Quote:
"Who knows, maybe the answers and questions you are waiting for are actually in the objects being created."

Perhaps that is what we are asking for.

Perhaps then in order to answer us correctly, we will need a series of four creations from each participant.

Perhaps I should let you share this piece of information.

Also Loli is working on a web page (keep it hush hush from the Deck please......)

She is asking for contributions to he gmail address (can be found on the wiki)

I would go for the simpler explanation (Occam's razor and all that): they decided to have an intermission and then changed their minds.

5D can't seem to make his mind up whether he is son of Walter or son of John, incidentally. He could be two people, I suppose, or have two fathers - or a mother called Walter or John!

Son of John, Son of Walter

From a Myspace message to him. After a few messages he does start saying "we" instead of "me" and referring to Ape Language as a group.

KNOWLEDGE!

Which says clearly "Read The Book"

Which, ironically, I was doing last night. I believe we are dealing with the Queen's trial phase - the trial of the Nave - but I'm not sure and I'm not sure which chapter that is either (don't have the book with me). I'm reading several books at the same time so I get a little befuddled.

For some reason I'm picturing Son of John Walter banging his head right now

If 'the Book' is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, I would have thought we should only be about 5/13ths through it, but I can't see any connection with monkeys and sons of John or Walter.

Perhaps it is another book?

I don't know but I'm inclined to think we are dealing with AIW. I've been having a very interesting email conversation with 5D all week about plagiarism and music. Mostly because I quoted a lyric in one of the songs on "their" myspace page in my initial email. 5D refers to "we" a lot - not in we the passengers but in "we" the 5 of Diamonds... so I googled the lyric and Alice In Wonderland, found the part in Alice that it is used and emailed *them* back with it. I'm waiting to see if that stirrs a response.

ok trying to id the quotes. fairly well read so it's driving me nuts but i swear i heard something else in one of the tracks not mentioned in the lyrics section which was " you monkeys stink" which would be from the planet of the apes.

the 'what will become of me in this fairytale is definitely alice
maybe there all from there but something tells me no. I can be far more interesting and articulate when I'm not doing stream of conscioness to figure out quotes honest.
Michelle

I think he was telling me to get my copy of alice. Unfortunately I don't have one. Thought I share though

Well done - there is now a new link from the first page, which leads to a username/passworded page '1' (and the text box says 'Who said 1'). Any idea what the username and password are?

WHo is 1

what I know about this quote:

Quote:
The apples are buried. I seek them underneath. The judge sees me digging. The judge speaks to me.

I look in the window, I see hand, fingers, arm. They are so large. I hope they do no harm.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pat, Rabbit's Assistant. Ch. 4

Next came an angry voice -- the Rabbit's--'Pat! Pat! Where are you?' And then a voice she had never heard before, 'Sure then I'm here! Digging for apples, yer honour!'
'Digging for apples, indeed!' said the Rabbit angrily. 'Here! Come and help me out of this!' (Sounds of more broken glass.)
'Now tell me, Pat, what's that in the window?'

'Sure, it's an arm, yer honour!' (He pronounced it 'arrum.')

'An arm, you goose! Who ever saw one that size? Why, it fills the whole window!'

'Sure, it does, yer honour: but it's an arm for all that.'

'Well, it's got no business there, at any rate: go and take it away!'

There was a long silence after this, and Alice could only hear whispers now and then; such as, 'Sure, I don't like it, yer honour, at all, at all!' 'Do as I tell you, you coward!' and at last she spread out her hand again, and made another snatch in the air. This time there were two little shrieks, and more sounds of broken glass. 'What a number of cucumber-frames there must be!' thought Alice. 'I wonder what they'll do next! As for pulling me out of the window, I only wish they could! I'm sure I don't want to stay in here any longer!'

haven't figured out how they fit yet.

Will share 2 and 4 and my theories for 3 when they come up.

Wait, so when we figure this out, does this mean our prize packages will consist of bananas along with our puppies and t-shirts?
