[META] Cloverfield Historians? Anyone up for a...
player's account? People will want to know how it all went down.

But first, forgive me for Last Posting (If you don't know, don't ask). My bad.

So my OCD is on display over at Tagruato. In the process I've taken on the task of memorializing the trials and tribulations of the Cloverfield virtual experience. Any history of how it went down won't just reference Unfiction, but will revolve around Unfiction. As those of you who were here for it can attest, Unfiction was responsible for the bulk of the dots that were connected.

But a collaborative "player's account" would smoke my individual effort for a host of obvious reasons. And I could use the help (read: OCD is only good for some things). If anyone is interested, here is what I have in mind (but for sure, I really mean collaborative so if you have a better idea, let's have it).

I've started by archiving the contents of IG sites. I've done 1-18-08 and Tidowave. Next, Tagruato.jp. But preserving the content isn't even half the story, and it's the story that I'd like your help in writing.

For instance, each image needs an accompanying write up with links. Take the first image from 1-18-08. Remember the speculation about the gargoyle or little devil supposedly hovering between the girl's faces, or the theory that the girls were one in the same? Stuff like that.

Moving on to T.I.D.O., an account of how it was found (the tagruato hack) and who (Ellis) found it along with other noteworthy stuff such as the open question about whether some of the posts were/are puzzles, etc.

Important to my mind is anchoring the accounts in links to the threads and posts where the history unfolded. The idea being someone new who reads the account in say, the run up to the Sequel, can drill down if something interests them, or say you, a couple years down the road, are trying to find the threads that attempted to tackle Decembers "Tip For the Field", you could find them with the help of the history.

That's where I'm at. Just throwing out a feeler. I'm in this for the long haul if it wasn't already obvious. I'd appreciate you input, and if you're so inclined, your authorship. Respond as you see fit, but serious volunteers should also email me at tagruato AT gmail DOT com. I'll collect names (assuming there are any) and see about setting up some sort of working structure.

And in case anyone is suspicious, Unfiction and not Tagruato is where this theoretical think tank would do its work.

Ooo, this project sounds fun! I'll be glad to help when I'm not busy. Very Happy

Btw, you absolutely must mention Ethan Haas, simply due to how funny that whole coincidence was. Laughing

Could you divide jobs out because I would like a part, but do not know what needs to be done.
