sidenote: this arg looks like its a good one... I'm pretty new to the ARG world, but i'm psyched that finally i get hitch on somewhere near the beginning! Everything else i always found out about a little too late: (cloverfield, lost experience, and others) Looking forward to this one!

Also I since Diego makes a reference to his Xbox I thought to check if there was an xbox live account with the youtube name, but to no avail.

Cyrus, I agree this is going to be cool. The reference to Xbox was due to this puzzle trail which introduced the stuff mentioned in jwiv's thread above. The puzzle trail was used to introduce us to some of the characters (and maybe other clues, I'm not that sharp anymore) in this up coming arg. Oh, good catch on the age. I was thinking that too. He's at least 80 maybe more. If Diego is 17 then he would have been at least 53 when Diego was born. Which makes we wonder how old Marianne, his wife, was/is. Then I wanted to think maybe this is based in the past but they didn't have such things as vlogs in the 40's.

Then it dawned on me this story is probably not so much about Barrett as it is about Moira. She is probably Diego's mother. Which would make much better sense. But this is just a guess and we'll have to wait and see if that pans out.

Thanks for that Sylvia. Yes Moira and Barnett would make a fair bit of sense. I've signed up. Haha, I wonder if this will lead me to actually get a webcam or recorder at some point. I think we need someone or some people to be "characters" as suggested that will help out us poor unfortunates without video recording abilities to reflect our questions.

In reference to the artcile you listened on despoiler, I wonder if there was any real significance in the bolded text - online learning environment?

you guys are welcome. but to make something clear, I don't think that Barrett and Marianne are Diego's and Isobella's parents. Maybe grandparents.

I think this story is about Moira, who MIGHT, but not necessarily be Diego's and Isobella's mother. I don't know that to fact yet. But I do feel the story MAY center around Moira and what she was/is. After all, Dr. Barrett said the stuff she drank that made her feel better, before she left with the people who came and got her, smelled like blood. Interesting.

My point is: the father and mother that Isobella and Diego talk about on their youtube comments are not Barrett and Marianne. I just want to make sure we get started off on the right foot when this starts. However, there is a small chance, I could be wrong.

I don't know yet about the "ONLINE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT." I guess it's just another one of those things we will have to wait and see on.

I agree, I think Moira's condition/state of being must play a large role.

I don't know but when I read about some of the deformed corpses being covered in fur; and Moira drinking a bloodlike substance that heals/sustains her... It makes me start thinking of werewolves and vampires. AND the articles about the ARG did mention mythology... It may be too early to tell, and its probably but a small piece of a massively larger puzzle; but for now i definitely see a resemblance.
