Somewhat, but there's no definitive conflict or point. Letting us write the story with no real goal won't work for very long. I hope that the PM is just letting us flesh in the details and not write the story.

Edit : I find it hard to believe a group of women were smart enough to devise a way to kill off men only and they didn't know that you could create sperm from female bone marrow (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=&xml=/earth/2008/01/31/scisperm131.xml). I'm guessing this means the demolition of men was either an accident or they're keeping the few remaining men around for reasons other than simply mating.
